The crazy thing is I've tried to bounce those kind of questions back at people when I've been asked and they then think I'm being aggressive. The best way I've found to stop people in their tracks is to say "don't ask any questions you're not prepared to answer about yourself."

Good one! Excellent for one-on-one conversations, for sure.
I do love menendez's reaction at the end. That she thought those were important questions to build a bridge of understanding... but getting slammed with them herself made her understand a little differently.
