Okay, so everyone on earth has that one thing.. that one little sexy thought that makes your brain Za-Zaowww! tingle and feel oh so gooood... Their fetish. What's yours?? You can list a couple.. but I wanna know your #1 specific thing that you call your "fetish"? Don't be shy...no one's judging.. just sharing

I'll start! Mine's spanking.. just being bent over and exposed and humiliated by a guy (or girl) and feeling helpless and naughty and all that good stuff. I love it!

So what's your fetish?

Mine is spanking to, I love bending my gf over and spanking her ass befor fucking her. I also love it when she spanks me.

I think of a fetish as something you must have in order to have sex EVERY TIME.

Therefore I don't have a fetish in the real sense of the world.

I do enjoy spanking a great deal but it's not a fetish for me personally.

I have to agree with Furry.
This is the text-book definition of a fetish. Sex therapists, at least the ones I know and know of, spend most of their time dealing with fetish problems in relationships. If hubby can't get his motor running without the wife spitting in his face first, or if wifey has to wear jack boots to get in the mood, then it's a fetish. Pop-culture and porn-culture have managed to abscond with the word and turn it into a label for anything that isn't missionary with the lights off. There may even be a category for that now;
"Come to our site and see the perversion of one man and one woman going at it old school!" It's kind of like hearing Nirvana on a classic rock station. I think the OP is asking about those little things that give it that zing. Something akin to Emeril standing in the bedroom and shouting "BAM!" as he sprinkles something over you.

All that aside, if you want kinks, then I'll have to get back to you with a list. Do you wan that alphabetically or categorically?

Today it's mismatched socks.

Thanks!

I think the definition is in flux right now. Language is like that.

I have to agree with Furry.

Well I don't like the word fetish as it's used in the OP, it seems to mean, "what do you like" kind of thing. Personally my gf is good enough on her own to get me going, but before and during sex I like biting and scratching if she's in the mood for it and maybe a bit of asphyxiation, and if she's really up for it I'l try and bring some blood into the equation. My actually "fetish" however, seems to be plain kissing. The moment our lips touch I'm up, everything after that just keeps me up :)

As I mentioned in the other thread linked to this topic - books. Although it isn't a "true" fetish, as I am perfectly capable of enjoying myself with their involvement...

And to avoid misunderstanding, I should point out that when I say "books" I do not mean stories, erotica, reading, etc. I mean books as physical objects. Particularly books printed before 1800 (more likely before 1750). The "fetish" extends to typography and paper; certain things related to the subject simply get me hot - humidity levels rising sorts of hot.

Welcome to Lit. Browsing around before diving right in is heartily encouraged. ;)

Yup, picking things to pieces is what we do best. You'll get use to it.

It's just too bad that getting picked to pieces is not a common fetish.

I don't think my ex could get it up if consent was present in his partner or music of his choosing wasn't playing. Both elements had to be in play.

You actually become turned on by books.
Strange.

My thing is being ordered around, told what to do, but really forcefully. I even like dirty talk although when my husband does it (oh the poor lad tries) it sounds kind of insincere and I know he is embarrassed and just doing it because I said I like it. I would rather if he truly got into it and just called me a dirty slut like I want and like I think deep down he wants too.

That's not strange to me. I get turned on by books too, and stories, and words, written words, not spoken ones. I don't NEED them to get off but I often use them in my head to facilitate.

Yea, probably better to ask what's your kink. Fetishism is pretty well defined. The word isn't evolving.

As far as my kinks, I like a bunch of stuff, but most of it incorporates well into medical scenes, so I'd have to say my kink is "playing doctor".

:)

Actually, it is a wee bit strange... I haven't met many people who's reaction to viewing a Kelmscott Chaucer is a burning desire to be bent over a library table, and be used as painfully (and pleasurably) as possible.

*chuckle*
