The AH Coffee Shop and Reading Room 03: Come On In

Just popping in for a quick kiss.

A  from the good little witch.

<<<<< Grabs good little witch, bends her over for a long deep passionate, barn burner of a kiss.

:D That's how it's done down here in Texas.

Care for a coffee?

You Rotter !
Just when a chap's back is turned. . .

But the coffee is more than welcome, thanks.

What more could a fellow ask for; frankly not a lot.

Morning, all. Large black, please. Rain today, so it looks like a writing day.
Bright sunshine here; a day to find things to photograph. . . .
And find a quiet spot and enjoy my coffee.

I had a very pleasant visual experience today.
You know how you can get loads of pretty girls in a big city, and the skirt can be so very short ? She wore a dress that was THAT SHORT. It was the sort of dress one might see in a porn film or something like it.
Well, I saw one today that made me drool; fortunately, I'm old enough to have been her Grandad so I just looked and smiled. Another aged viewer looked at me and smiled; As I passed by him, I muttered:-

"The good Lord, in his infinite wisdom, gave me eyes to see the beauties of His world, and I thank him most sincerely for that one."

I understand completely. Went to the rodeo yesterday and got to spend some time just people-watching. Most of course were pretty ordinary, but from time to time there came by a tanned and sunbleached loverlyfluff in Daisy Dukes or a lean, hardbodied young rider in working denim and sunglasses; the world held its breath at their passing. Bliss it was in that dawn to be alive, but to be young was very heaven.

Morning all,

I never could resist those goodie two shoes types. :D It's so much fun to curl their toes.

The suns out this morning but they say spotty showers this afternoon.

Fresh coffee is now available.

We still await the gentle rain from Heaven.
This should not be taken as any form of complaint, you understand; merely an observation.
But for the moment, a cup of coffee would go down Very Very Well.

Still blue skies here but there are small popup showers in the area. Typical of this time of year.

I cannot recall too many times when Wimbledon wasn't interrupted by some serious rain and even thunder. This year - nothing (so far; not that I generally listen to what's happening in SW19).

I went fishing this evening; caught nought, but it was interesting to watch the minnows chase my float about a bit.
Tes, I think

Large black, please. And, given the sodden weather, Tex, which cupboard did you say holds the 'special' flavorings? I think even your excellent brew could do with some enhancement.

Large, black, if you please. And, if you haven't read it already, here's Dorothy Parker's take on the goody two-shoes from a hundred years ago, Good Souls.

Afternoon all, I took the day off and went to another lake other than the one I live on. Sounds odd I know but this other lake is surrounded completely by National Forest land and parks. People watching was the main course of the menu of the day.

HM & HG made up a fabulous lunch and added to the scenery. The water was warm and the breeze cool when you were sitting in the shade. Just a time to relax and not think about stories and such. I think our rain is over for a while.

Fresh coffee for the evening crowd.

If you look to the East far enough, you may see a slightly green haze.
It's envy.
Meanwhile,
Coffee

Still waiting for the results from the MRI/MRA. Only two trips to ER in the past week.

Good morning to the good people of Literotica!

Black coffee seems to be the major need right now. The rain passed yesterday and the heat returned. A good morning to watch the sun come up.

Sorry to hear about the ER visits.

I hope the results of the tests show something positive. :rose:

Cloudy and overcast here. Spotty showers are in the area but have missed me so far. I need to make a run into town for a few odds and ends. Also to pay a couple of bills. I pay most of them over the phone but you always have someone who is way behind the times.

Fresh coffee for the late running crew. You know who you are.

Cold brew slowly revitalizing the blood and sparking the firing of neurons this morning. How long til something shows up on the work agenda, I cannot say, but in the meantime -- nearby windows and a daydream or two...

I'll echo. Good luck Lynn.

I drive to work by a different route each day so that I don't fall into a mindless routine. This morning I took a slow route through downtown and across the university campus.

While passing a downtown market, I saw an attractive young woman in a flowered sundress crouched on the sidewalk in front of an older homeless woman who appeared to have sheltered there overnight. The young woman was washing the homeless woman's face.

I realized after passing by that I didn't really see the attractive young woman in the flowered sundress; her dress and her posture mostly hid her body and her hair hid her face. She was attractive because of what she was doing rather than for the way she looked.

Thanks, everyone. :rose:

After years of success with a med, it started working against me. I struggled during the "withdrawal" period and now I'm working to find something that will help.

I'm told that's possible.
Meanwhile, thoughts & prayers, madam.

My newly-built tower PC is having a hissy fit and sulking.
I aint 'appy.
Tea please.

I'm close to the end of my ghost story. There will be some editing and maybe some additions or deletions, but I'm down to the last few scenes.

I think I'm suffering premature separation anxiety. I've had my ghosts around since March. First they seduced me then they intrigued me, now they're almost ready to leave.

On the other hand, I have four stories gnawing at my pant leg. Maybe the separation problems won't last so long.
