Apologies if this seems the wrong forum for this question.

Almost all interracial porn is of the same ilk - white woman with a black guy with a massive cock. It's usually boring, trite, and lazy. And pretty unerotic too. (Not to mention implicitly racist for a million reasons which there's no point going into.)

Does anyone share my lack of enthusiasm for it and the irritation that interracial porn isn't a) more representative; and b) as tastefully and erotically done as a lot of white-on-white porn is?

Where is the 'classy' interracial porn? Particularly, where are the other combinations? The white man with the black woman, the black woman with the Asian man, the Asian girl with the black man, and so on?

There a billion and one tumblrs out there which are very intelligently and artfully put together. Yet I can't find any that hit the spot for me in this regard. As somebody in an interracial relationship I find it...odd. Or am I just looking in the wrong places?

i think that the issue here is that:

a) interracial as a category is presumably consumed by people who have that specific, implicitly racist fetish. i'm not sure what that says and will leave that to sociologists but it's pretty goofy. obviously, that's what the category is understood to mean though both by those producing it as well as those who spend the money for it.

b) being tasteful requires an aesthetic sense that i suspect is in the distinct and vastly outnumbered minority* among those producing porn. and since the overwhelming amount is so formulaic, it's easy to find actors and cinematographers to do it, quickly.

c) this stuff must be out there but as my familiarity with porn is ultimately fairly limited, i leave the question of how to find good quality material that is legitimately interesting to others. FWIW i do share that irritation, but it isn't enough for me to figure out how to identify it.

Finding tasteful porn is hard enough on it's own, without delving into "niche" porn. When you know the name of the odd actor/actress that provides what you're looking for, it makes it easier to find similar stuff. As you said, most of it is crap.

Unfortunately, as you have already experienced, a great deal of the commercially available, mainstream porn is lacking in the classy department.

I have two suggestions for you:

1) Seek out some smut flicks from the late eighties / early nineties. The film quality is poor by today's standards sure, and you will have to forgive some of the campy sounding casio-keyboard soundtrack, but I do recall seeing some movies that had inter-racial scenes (including white dudes with black women) that were nothing like the "daddies lil' white girl with the negro bull cock" variety you find today.
Start with flicks (or Tumblrs) staring Ebony Ayes, Jeannie Pepper, and Heather Hunter.

2) There is a female director (award winning, I believe) named Petra Joy who produces porn movies and may be worth checking out. Maybe more "erotic film" than porn, if comparing to other fap films out there, and definitely geared not so much to women, but to women's pleasure (not a bad thing, especially if you are seeking something outside of what is traditionally produced nowadays).

The production value (shot well, lit well, scored well) is there, and as long as you are not offended by the occasional bisexual (dude on dude) moment captured on film, could be worth checking out.

Years back when I had never seen porn without squiggles...my young bride encouraged me to consume some all-market approved in room porn at The Something Palms which was a Sheraton then I think.

It was marshmallow soft-core, cheese-tastic and used artful use of camera angles and the odd potted plant to avoid any actual PIV shots.

I LOVED it. Wifey was less than impressed having started her porn viewing tastes a decade before me. She wanted it HARDCORE.

Flash forward a decade and a half and the porn had gotten so graphic and just gross that SHE was finally squicked. "Why are they spitting???" or "Did he just take it out of there and put it...?"

The problem is that classy doesn't sell. To men.

Woman are just about as likely to be consumers of porn as men, but they won't pay for it directly, hardly at all. It just isn't done. I don't think they are cheap necessarily, its just they are used to being in the catbird seat on sexual matters and frankly with the porn produced what woman would pay for that. it's a coir-cul.

I just don't search it out anymore...I surf individual tumblers and see way more gifs than clips much less actual movies with sound...weird that as technology made it available on demand I don't want any of it.

I like amateur because warts and all at least (sometimes) it's real or at least acted well enough that I can suspend disbelief.

I think like others have said, add a niche, and the cull pile becomes insurmountably high.

Lit is excellent for that. There are some threads where women post gifs and images regularly and usually they tend towards the more tasteful side. If I didn't know about this site, though, I don't think I'd ever find that sort of "thinking man's porn".
