Breathing a new life to the challenge that Icingsugar brought to us almost two years ago.

Remember the purpose. In Icingsugar's own words:

Can we find that perfect ten? A short line or two that says more than any brick sized novel on the bookshelf?

My own writting is often talkative, verbal and lengthy, spreading adjectives and adverbs like manure. Flowery speech can be nice, but It's always healthy to practice what you're less good at. I'll see if this can help me refine my expression and churn out the essentials.

So, once again.
Here be Poems.
Poetry in any freewheelin' form.
As long as they are ten words or shorter.

Ten perfect words.

Such a small,
yet seemingly impossible,
aspiration.

Thank you, Poets, for reminding us of how this thread started.

Restless tides
Alter sand and beaches
Leaving an ocean’s trash

Moonlit nights
Bleach out color
Leave black
And its white

Driftwood, gnarled and
mangled, yet rubbed ever so smooth,
Precious.

Is true recognition
a glance away
or forever beyond
witness?

authenticity
transmutates archaic mold
past, present, future
all same as one....

Past, present, future
artificially partitioned,
fractured
spinning apart into
nothing...

While Pan pipes
flaunt their youth,
frailty supplants
strength unrelentingly.
