Nice suggestion.

With patience and enough of the right kind of lube, you can get just about anything up in there. It may take some time to work up to an item of greater size, but the payoff is worth it! You will want to warm up & stretch using some fingers (yours or your partner's), starting with one or two, then gradually adding more, or maybe using a couple different sizes of plugs with a good taper to gently open you up. Or get a few toys, one a bit larger than the one before, and work yourself up to size that way.

I think the Vixen Leo is a perfect size for most of us-- not so small that it will bore the ravenous beginner, not too big. Disclaimer: I am NOT a doctor and I do NOT play one on TV. This is the way *I* learned how to discover anal play. As usual care needs to be practiced. GO VERY SLOWLY.

First start off with a TRIMMED index finger. You may even want to put on a latex glove first to help make it even smoother. Use KY or the drug store brand of KY and lube the finger well. Simple answer to your questions:
Yes, you'll be able to take something that large, unless you have some physical condition that prevents it.
Is it enjoyable? Well I think that it is, but not everyone is a bottom. My guess that you are willing to try, indicates it'll probably be enjoyable, but not at first instance. Indeed it may hurt like hell the first time.
Lastly, how to work up to it? The suggestions in here are to start small and work up. This is somewhat true, but not entirely necessary. A finger is just way too small to matter. Even the small butt plugs are just to get you used to having something in your ass...they will in no way stretch you to prepare for something largish. It is not so much that you need to stretch your sphincter, as it is already capable of handling something that large. YOU JUST NEED TO RELAX!
