I didn't find any of the boys in my tent that attractive.
You should have gone to co-ed camp.

You learned more. I think.

I did. ;)

Birthday

All year, your wishes
hang around in the dark

like vagrants.

Candles
are all the warning they need

to clear out of town.

I love this. Love it love it love it. Have nothing constructive to say but oh it hit me and I like being hit like that.

If it were my poem I would take out the spaces, it makes vagrants seem more important than it was (to me) but that is me. I remember a man used to question my

returns

in poems

:)

thanks for the suggestion, anna.

you're right about the linebreaks, of course.

Congratulations to Calli and Tzara for finishing another round today!

you guys are an inspiration :)

Adding my Congratulations to Tzara and Calli. 30 in 30 is tough once, twice and quite conceivably difficult thrice. I need you multi-monthers to tell me, does it get easier?

Thank you Anna, Champie, and Ms. Crewe, for the congratulatory messages. They are kind of like the water bottle at the end of a marathon. Very welcome, though perhaps devoured too quickly.

No. No, it doesn't. :)

When I look at you I think you must be made
of light. I could believe whatever
you show me. I could. I could
believe that off you comes the dawn
to end my blind shuffling,
that your small hands build mornings.
I’ll believe anything you tell me—tell me
we will not be persuaded day by day
into old age, that I could grow within you
as if my feet were at war with your ribs.
When you pass by me I know why
shadows tilt and fall away as day
drops down—ignite. Move me. When
I move my moving will be a moving toward,
my sin slanting by you, unpossessed.

this is beautiful ... :rose:

I agree RF. RainMan has been exhibiting beautiful poetry on the 30/30 thread. I am always struck by his ease of expression. Rainman, you must be the most romantic guy to be around when you're busy making love poems

Congrats, Rain-Dude. You give thirty a good name.

I have no idea what that means but I like it. ;)

You make writing 30 poems look easy, RainMan. Thanks for giving us another month of poetry to look at. :rose:

Congrats once again! You deserve a break! What wonderful poems you put out this month, we are fortunate to get our daily dose.

Me, I cannot even handle 10 days anymore!

anna! Your poem number 7-13, Smog Colored Glasses, is fantastic. Negative integers the value caught in the gaps of conversation ... I love it. :rose: :rose:
