This was started in the Clinton administration to promote friendly international relations, continued by Bush and Obama. Seems silly.

Seems weird to me also. Maybe this is traditional or something but does it really matter? Personally, I'd rather wear jeans and Carhartt jacket but what do I know?

Yeah Larry that would be appropriate. It is a show of respect to dress in the native culture. I hate fake criticisms. Obama is not my guy but criticize for real issues not this stupid crap. He has good things and things that I don't like. But this...FFS. ISSUES ISSUES ISSUES.
