Moochie’s Meandering Missives (and a pic or two)

My beautiful friend asked me to post this here. 💜💜💜

Anniversary

A tall drink of water
Before the espresso
Left but not forgotten
On the piano by the door.

A walk down wet, slick stairs
Hand in hand
As the dead leaves
Hanging upon the trees,
Look on without comment.

Hold me closer
In these moments,
And think of them long after,
When the song of my body
Meets yours in crescendo.

Never let go
Of this feeling of us,
This warmth unparalleled
In a hall known well
Where everything was changed.

Words that entice one to think and an image to ponder... Wonderful

Powerful poem. Beautiful ropework (I am jealous as always; mine looks like it was tied by an arthritic chimp). Great pic: I love the colours in the rope.
I hope she's okay?

I don't presume to speak for her, but I think that she is more than okay. Just taking a break from the stress and negativity that sometimes come with the territory here on Lit. In my estimation, she is very happy, with the majority of the credit for that going to someone who may or may not be reading this. If he is, I want him to know that I appreciate him treating my friend with the care that she deserves. 🌷

Starting here,
Where I am
And taking stock
Of all that has transpired,
Come together,
This past year.

I focused on happiness
And allowed positivity
To rule over my negatives,
So I am still here.

I spent time with family,
Able to focus on being
A good mother,
Daughter, sister,
And I am still here.

I worked more,
Fully functioning,
Able to help my colleagues
Who had their own misfortunes,
Recognized with a new pin,
Thankful I am still here.

There were moments where the pain
Was almost unbearable,
But never actually was,
Which is
Why I am still here.

I sang my life
To strangers,
Almost weekly,
With some becoming friends,
Saving a barstool for me
While I am still here.

He held me every day,
Written where I belong,
Nestled in His arms
And in my spot,
I am always there.

This coming year,
I will continue
To piece together
From here.

This beginning is a good one.

I’ll start here.

Those missing pieces will turn up. May 2020 be full of positive, healing influences

Im so pleased you have found your starting point for the year and over the coming months you will find, or remember where you last saw, the missing pieces of your puzzle.
Hopefully they will fit perfectly but don’t despair if they don’t, they may need a tweak or two to give them a better fit.

There are no missing pieces
Just ones kept safe
With someone I trust
To care for them.

Welcome back Mooch. You were missed. Happy New Year and all the best to you.

Hi Moochie,

After last year at this time, this has been a tough holiday season. However, I am glad to have seen you stop in, especially since we have your words to continue to make us think about life and how different things affect different people.

Hope you have a wonderful 2020.
Happy New Year Moochie.

Such joy seeing you return with the wonder of your always stimulating posts, this is just beautiful and it is lovely to know those pieces are being kept safe and loved  xxx

I’m reminded today
About how much I need
To be wrapped tightly.

I prefer to feel His arms
Gathering my body close
As we lay warm,
Bare in bed.

There is a way that
He moves me closer,
Placing His whole hands,
Palms on my skin,
And runs them to my hips
To pull me.

So I pull tight on the knots
And try to imagine His hands
In the place of mine,
Wrapping me tightly
With the gathered hemp.

I like how the words and pic go together. Well thought out.

I am pleased though that those pieces aren’t mislaid and are safely being cared for my Him.

Wow. The intricate knot between your breasts is really outstanding, but the subtle one at your waist is beautifully simple. Nice ropework as always.

I would hate my body
If you didn’t love it.
Up since 3am
And all I keep wishing for
Is you next to me
In this empty bed.

A good idea having a soft wool like garment under the rope, although you don't seem to mind a bit of discomfort, so much to enjoy about this photo, nice rope work emphasizing your breasts: also like the discrete cameltoe.

Your words always move and reach in, your images stimulate perfectly in sync with those words :rose:

Wishes blown into the wind
With the last bits of dandelion fluff,
Carried up and away,
In a whisper
Written on curled paper,
Stuffed into a bottle,
Sealed with a kiss
And set to float
Out into the ocean current,
With a pinch of salt
Over the shoulder
And a spin for luck.
