"The Wall" will never get built. Even if funding is secured.

Steel, concrete, or dreams.

First, billions will be wasted on "feasibility studies". There will be bickering over costs, material sourcing, design, and most importantly, location.

Next, if the entire 1954 miles is surveyed and plans are actually drawn up to accurately design and route any type of structure, there will be 10 of thousands of private properties to be seized and/or bought. Mountains of lawsuits will of course follow, which will take years to resolve.

After all of this even IF Trump wins a second term, the whole ridiculous idea will still be just a symbolic isolationist pipe dream.

To claim that people who are 100% criminal misdemeanants are "more law abiding" is beyond moronic.

The defense is "well, only if we don't count their prior criminal acts before we looked at the statistics". Which sort of means that they're putting their thumb on the scale since they AREN'T doing the same for US citizens.

It's a bald faced lie. And they speak it with a straight face because those who listen and believe the lie live inside an alternate facts reality.

Answer the question dip shit, how is it "isolationist." Be specific as to how protecting one's borders from a criminal invasion is somehow a withdrawal from the geopolitical world stage.

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of summary executions. You'd only have to whack a few thousand to get the millions running to the borders like a herd of cockroaches in an infested house (and our house IS infested) run for the baseboards when you turn on the light. We could call it "Operation House Tent." Has a ring to it, doesn't it? And there is a side benefit, we'd get to see exactly how tolerant our northern cousins are, you know, the ones with the loud fucking mouths telling us what we should do, when several million of the cockroaches head north.

Nothing should be too big to fail....ever...inf act I'd 100% back a Constitutional amendment that would strictly for-fuckin'-bid the government from ever bailing out any corporate enterprise ever.

No subsidies....none of it. That shit is the disease that is causing most of our problems.
