I don't totally disagree with you but your not quite on point. What we have here are

1) 40 year old allegations, which may or may not be true. Especially when they come out 30 days before an election.
2) It doesn't pass the smell test because of the timing, ie political smear? Don't discount state resentment over the Russia investigate which is a witch hunt against trump.
3) This is a referendum on who Alabama voters want as their senator. What they think of Planned Parenthood and the allegations against Moore will decide it.

What the fuck does his political party have to do with anything? Predatory sexual behavior isn't exclusive to one or the other.

It'd seem on a website dedicated to the written word, more wouldn't be so ignorant of the fact that pedophilia only applies to prepubescent children, and does not apply at all to 14-year old post-pubescent teenagers. Then again, maybe it's not so much ignorance as it is intentional, disingenuous malice to fling around such hideous discussion and accusation which have no literal relevance at all.

This raises four points:-

1. The medical definition of Paedophilia is that it involves the attraction of adults to pre-pubescent children.

2. The Law is quite different, it treats a Paedophile who acts upon such an attraction towards any legal minor as answerable for a serious sexual assault. Your points are semantics. Legally there is application.

3. This site has its own rules which it applies to any minor under 18 years.

4. Why are you hiding behind what is obviously an alt(s) to make this statement?

Actually, each state has immensely different laws to address age differences in this regard. So, factually, your hyperbolic "The Law" is just FAKE NEWS. And, again, I hate to learn you, but words are most definitely literal and, in all honest applications, are, of course, fully semantical. You're simply - and I mean that word in its very most literal, sematical sense - playing amateur politics, as usual.

I think most or all of us are aware of that distinction. The anti-Moore posters want to make things as bad as possible, so they say things they know aren't true. The rest of us might correct them a few times, then stop bothering. I doubt that Moore, being such an asshole, has many supporters on this site, but some of us believe in honest discussions.

Some of the girls mentioned have passed the age of consent, but the leftists don't care about that either.

That's ridiculous. There is no law against an adult trying to seduce (not rape) a person who is at least the age of consent. That's why it's called "the age of consent." Some states make exceptions when the would-be seducer holds a position of authority over the intended, but that is not the case here. In addition to that, the statutes of limitations passed long ago on the incidents being alleged here.

Nor should they care that girls are now passed the age of consent. That’s fucked up logic right there. Better get ‘em while they are too young to vocalize. Let me guess, the Catholic priests who violated children are also cool since those individuals didn’t speak up until they were the age of consent.

I would expect that the DA of any county using his perceived authority to trawl the local mall and county courthouse for young girls is an abuse of power, even in Alabama. He even waived his power as DA in the face of one of his alleged victims in his statement to Beverly Young Nelson.
