The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

Just sneaking in in time... no tardy slip for me this week!

Bit underwhelming, if I'm objective. But I was busy editing a severed head into H's rendition of Perseus ;)

Your arms are both graceful and regal. The crop is a great touch!
Beautiful, Numi. :rose::heart:

Living Works of Art Museum, I am delighted to announce the opening of a new wing to make room for our latest exhibit: the lovely ladies of Lit posing as iconic works of art.

Ladies, we are seeking your renditions of these iconic works to fill our gallery. For those unfamiliar with the concept, my trusted advisors and I, collectively the Council of Vintage Gentlemen (CVG), will select an iconic work of art featuring the female form once a week. During the ensuing week, submit your interpretation of this artwork for the admiration of the museum patrons.

Do be prepared, we do not prohibit touching of the artwork and we have found in the male body exhibit that some of the patrons do get "handsy." :D

Are you ready?

What a wonderful idea. Need index for Museum of artist's

Hello Ladies,

It was nice to see the flurry of "Cold Girl" entries in the last day. The time has come for your next challenge. Hang on to your drapings, because you will need them again. Also, we return to Venus again! I guess I just have 'Venus envy.'

This week's challenge is Venus Italica by Antonio Canova:

Since my links didn't work, pictures of the subject sculpture are a couple of posts below, kindly provided by Fred.

Lovely Ladies of Lit,

We find ourselves on another Wednesday morning (at least in my time zone) and therefore, time for your next challenge. I had hoped to find something that would embody the Halloween spirit, and thus came across the sorceress of Greek mythology, Circe.

For your next challenge, I give you a choice of two renditions of Circe, the first by Wright Barker and the second by John William Waterhouse:
1. 2.

I told the curator, that I had been asked to do index for The Living Works of Art Museum. So doing female wing first...hey I a guy the enjoy the female form, but ladies the male wing index is HERE.

Ask always in a group thread, if you DO NOT WISH TO BE IN THE INDEX PLEASE TELL ME... as you see there is a set of ***** this is for listing for a lady that until I get OK to post in the index

Also as some of you know my health is not the best so there will be times I will not be able to make timely updates. If I miss someone or you wish to be removed drop me a note.

I'll give it a try. I can't really paint sheets and gold panels that well, but I could give my skin tone more pink like this Odalisque. Maybe belongs on the refrigerator more than a museum wall.

Mmmmmm, Ms.G! Such a delectable line from your nape to your knees. This is lovely. :rose::kiss:

Lol...to your words MsG.
You look gorgeous in your pic and I'm sure Glendale would enjoy that pic being on the refrigerator or anywhere else.😀

Never mind the panels and sheets, the pink bits make up for the deficiency. ;)

Wow, that is a wonderful rendition, well done and so very hot :rose::rose:

Nicely done, MsG, the 'painting' works well and emphasises your lovely slim frame. :rose:

Always good to hear from the curator of fine art. Thanks.

I'd hang that on my wall, this is wonderful Ms!! :rose::heart:

Your wall should have better art, but thanks.

I knew the pink bits would get some attention, so thanks.

You are kind to say I'm hot. Thanks.

Mr. G is a lucky man!

I hope he thinks so. Thanks.

It does look a bit aerodynamic now that you say so. Thanks.

Not next to the kids' schoolwork, I hope. Thanks.

If this goes on the refrigerator, my weight goes up too.

Don't blame me for your weight gains, ha.

Icy, I'm so glad to have another model doing that pose. Yours is beautiful, and lucky you, you were already blonde.

Lovely, Ms G, just lovely. I like your painting effects. And I love the way your back curves, and then that curve is echoed by your bum. Gorgeous.

Oh, now that is rather special too. The palette is fabulous, the angle is incredible but your modesty is preserved in a very tantalising way. And I love the flowers in the hair... :)
