The Living Works of Art Challenge

Very inventive, Mr G, I always love your interpretations. A quick spray tan will sort out that untanned side, since it seems a shame to deprive your beach-going audience of the treats of the other side ;)

Oh, no sulking, Ares. Winter training, I think, to prepare for next season. Nude, of course... *sneaks into the gym*

You bring the spray tan, I'll bring the untanned backside.

Nude training for sure, and women reporters are always welcome in the gym and showers.

ok, I think I'm a little late to the party, but here's one of me...was going for thinker but now I'm realizing the pose is wrong. lol. i'll have to work on my "David" next.

Yes the pose is perhaps off but you captured the essence. Very nice and we hope you stick around.

Thank you very much!

Challenge #10

I was told about female version..though it needed a index so started one. But to be fair to the ladies I will do one here also.

I’ve come up with what I think is a fun idea for a thread. A little challenge for the men of lit, for the viewing pleasure of the lovely ladies of lit.

There are many well-known works of art that are based on the male human form. I thought we could reverse the process and pose to emulate those works. Here’s what I propose: every week I will select an iconic work of art. Men, your job over the ensuing week will be to post a shot of yourself posing in your best rendition of said work of art.

Ladies, sit back and enjoy, or chime in and encourage us.

Challenge #1, an obvious choice: The statue of David, by Michelangelo.

Ask always in a group thread, if you DO NOT WISH TO BE IN THE INDEX PLEASE TELL ME.

Also as some of you know my health is not the best so there will be times I will not be able to make timely updates. Its been about two weeks since my mind has been clear, my fever has broken so trying to do update. If I miss someone or you wish to be removed drop me a note.

#11 penultimate challenge???
I never knew this was limited to 12 challenges!
Did I miss something?

Certainly, choosing the challenges is a lot of work for you, JRP.
Much gratitude for all you have done, and the idea for this fabulous thread.

Your efforts are certainly appreciated by the drooling masses wandering the gallery. I'm pretty sure we can even arrange a committee of helpers for you if you so desire, dear curator.

I don't want this thread to end.

Picking the challenges has not been too bad, in fact the last half mostly came from a list Lizzie came up with.

I felt like I needed to pick an end point as we are losing models. We are down to just four who have been participating for the last few challenges.

I didn't want it to just fade out to the point where I was the only one posing.

12 seemed like a good number. Kind of like the 12 labors of Hercules. Also perfect for making calendars.;)

JRP, I never told you what a joy this thread has been to me personally. On a social level, this thread and several others that followed changed the fabric of the AmPics community during the period of time I have known it.
I feel very very sorry to hear this is the penultimate challenge, but yes, good things must end on a high and not because of lack of interest.
My sincere hope and request would be that you work that brain of yours and come up with another charming idea.

^^^^ Yeah that!

This thread ending makes me really sad, it's the first one I check when I come here and I pout when there are no new posts. :(

My Rebellious Slave

This was hard, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I can't quite contort myself like the actual statue, but I think I captured the essence.

You did a fabulous job JRP. The ropes, the cloth, your body, everything works together beautifully.

Maybe you had a hard time with the pic, but looks like your mistress is going to have a good time with her slave soon. Very nice.

Detective Olivia Benson, SVU, had heard rumors, stories about love slaves kept by a MsG in an apartment 32a. Now she had a suspect who had come from there. He claimed he was only walking the dog, but Detective Benson noticed that his leash was attached to no dog. She also noticed that the suspect was not wearing any clothes. As for the suspect, he noticed that she was not offering him any clothes.

Brilliant work from JRP and MrG! I have to confess that I hated this one - I don't have the requisite physique. Still, here goes:

You guys are always saying you don't have the physiques for these and I'm here to tell you that you are wrong!! Stop that!

Now, on to the yumminess! If you want to rebel, I will help you! ;)
