The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

As Numi pointed out, getting the arm across the chest was difficult. This pose turned out to ne particularly challenging for me. I am not quite sure why. I tried it a couple of times during stolen moments.
While I am still not terribly happy with it, this is my rendition.

It is beautiful.

hi! I'm new to this thread. This is so fun!! I love erotic art. I never thought to CREATE erotic art before 0.0

I had to get creative - so I used the sunlight as a veil ;) ok, here goes:

Such ethereal beauty, the way your body disappears into/emerges from the light.:rose:

I'm a holiday nerd and Halloween is my favorite as I love creepy stuff so I hope the curator forgives me for junking up the exhibits.

Also thank you to Bela Lugosi, the Daddy of all vampires, for being my partner in crime!

And don't laugh at my hokey pedestal, cardboard is not sturdy to lean on.

Now that is other-worldly, artfully including the three B's--Bela, breasts, and bottom.:rose:

Dracula has such good taste in art.

Oh me too, I love horror too, especially the classics! Thank you!!

Love this thread. Thanks to all the lovely ladies who have tried to mimic the works of art, they may not succeed, but they are all definitely works of art in their own right. :)

Veiled Female Nude.

This was trickier than I expected.

Oh, wow! (I missed your pic too, sorry about that.)

Love the cutesy hands, the colouring, (and the model ;) ). You look like one of those summertime dreams, or an angel. That's always a classic style.

Art is about creative interpretation and these are very creative. What a sexy model, too.

Thank you for all the lovely comments on my "Cold Girl" and the "Venus Italica". I seem to have got really behind last week somehow, so rather than distracting from the lovely new pieces with an enormous quoting post, I hope you'll allow me just to say it does mean a lot to read the thoughtful comments that visitors take the time to write in the museum's book!

One thing, though - "crushing it" as a positive affirmation? Never thought of that!

It was hard, wasn't it? This is lovely, though, the sheer scarf and your arm beneath it. The profile of your nipple against your crossing arm. The hazy filter.

Challenge #5: "Veiled Female Nude," by Emilio Fiaschi

Laughing, my wobbly plinth involved a stool, cutting board, notebooks [when the cutting board wasn't wide enough], and towels.

Once I got over my tendency to mirror rather than replicate [roughly], I had fun with this pose.

Lovely! Your plinth looks perfectly sturdy

You have a great way with light, Icy! I like the way you took the view from below, a good variation, and a great way to showcase the sculpture's nipples ;)

I adore the middle one, with him reaching over your shoulder. The draping, your breasts, the curves, the hand - gorgeous!

I decided to go for the rear view, hoping for that curved back thing. There wasn't quite enough room behind the table, I think, to get an exaggerated curve, but I'm happy enough with this after a bit of exposure/shadow fiddling ;)

It may not have been exactly what you wanted, but it is very pretty.:rose:

I haven't forgotten about mine. It will be here later 😊

And trust me, we haven't forgotten about you either.;)

You do the rear view justice perfectly. The curve of your hip is lovely.

thank you.
Oh, wow! This is lovely! It captures that ghostly flow of a veil perfectly.

It's funny how something so simple looking can be challenging.
Your rendition is lovely.

Very ethereal, Lizzie . . . Beautiful.

You should be happy with it. Very nice, I think.

I love the misty, ghostly quality here, like you're coming out of the fog. Fantastic! :rose:

Wonderful.. I am glad you found one that you were happy enough to post.. Beautiful:rose::kiss::rose:

Compelling and slightly spooky. And lovely, of course...!:rose:

It's such a wonderful rendition, and every bit of it is lovely but I am struck by how pretty your hair is in this one.

The slope of your shoulder blades into your back is lovely and I love your hair, nicely done!! :rose:

Yay!! :rose:
