The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

I had to catch up four pages back.

*rushes in, panting, and climbs on the podium*

I decided that I needed to be cold in order to depict the 'Cold Girl' convincingly. So I scuttled into the garden into the shadows with just my little fleecy blanket. And this is the result.

I have to agree that the blanket-wrangling for this pose was very difficult, even without having to deal with timers and remote controls and the like. And most of my outtakes made me look like the hideously scary 'woman from the well' in the 'Ring' remakes... *shudder*
I know its the cold girl, but I love the sunshine bright vibe to this picture.

Very nice warm times Icy. I like this rendition.

Lovely work omega.
I love the shawl you used here Mara.

This one was a whole lot easier to do!! Yay!!

My Venus Italica! I did a front and back, not enough but in the back but oh well!
Whoa Tali. This is absolutely stunning. So very incredible.
Well, (As I posted on Cheer) I have had a very hard time of late. My health is in the shits, now I find my mind is in the shits too.

Over the last few weeks I have found I can't do index right anymore.

Feel better soon Fred.

Veiled Female Nude.

This was trickier than I expected.
I adore the lit background. As someone mentioned, it gives you the vibe of descending from the heavens. Lovely.

And so, here's my attempt. I found it really difficult not to change the shape of the exposed breast with the arm across - my photographer kept saying "You're crushing it!"

There you go laughing again. Lovely job.

Sunlight Veil

LWOAC-II: #4 Venus Italica

As Numi pointed out, getting the arm across the chest was difficult. This pose turned out to ne particularly challenging for me. I am not quite sure why. I tried it a couple of times during stolen moments.
While I am still not terribly happy with it, this is my rendition.

It's funny how something so simple looking can be challenging.
Your rendition is lovely.

Challenge #5: "Veiled Female Nude," by Emilio Fiaschi

Laughing, my wobbly plinth involved a stool, cutting board, notebooks [when the cutting board wasn't wide enough], and towels.

Once I got over my tendency to mirror rather than replicate [roughly], I had fun with this pose.

That is classy and gorgeous. Mmmmm..... times two.

You solved the trick then by coming out of the light like a divinity.

Whatever difficulties look more than solved here. Beautiful art.

I love the misty, ghostly quality here, like you're coming out of the fog. Fantastic! :rose:

I'm a holiday nerd and Halloween is my favorite as I love creepy stuff so I hope the curator forgives me for junking up the exhibits.

Also thank you to Bela Lugosi, the Daddy of all vampires, for being my partner in crime!

And don't laugh at my hokey pedestal, cardboard is not sturdy to lean on.

Such brilliant fun you have created here Tali, and that naughty Bela has had his evil way with you, guess we won't be seeing you through the daylight hours no more ;)

Oh so brilliant Tali.

It turned out beautifully... well done, love the perspective and the processing... and of course the gorgeous model!!! :rose::kiss::rose:

Thanks😘

Cool pic (and sexy too). You look like you are descending from the clouds.:)

There was a strange up light at that time of day.

Ladies, I'm seriously in catch-up mode here...
The colouring here is superb, the nipple draws the eye beautifully, and the sharp focus of the draping against the background is gorgeous. And that hair... I love it, Icy

Thank you Numi.😊

OMG You look like a goddess!!! *bows* :rose:

Aww, thank you Tali.

That angle is tricky too, making me disappear from the museum and reappear in paradise.

Hehe.😘

I LOVE all your pictures! Beautiful, confident and creative women and the men who adore them are always my favourites ;)

Cheers

Not saying you are an angel, but you look like you are ascending into the heavens. I hope that is the dress code when (!) we all get there.
