well it's hot, humid, and we're not up the hospital this morning since he's decided he's not going today ... so i've propped the laptop up on 4 perspex blocks containing lovely big bugs in hope that it'll stop overheating and cutting out. fingers crossed.

I have chopped back the lovage, which was gigantic, and told the parsley and coriander i am not ready for them to go to seed, in a brutal way with shears, and started removing water shoots from the pears. I know I won't be gardening when it gets very warm here.

Good morning! We we in se London yesterday. Had it been less rushed I would have suggested to G we allow more time and drive round and meet you some where. But it might have been as well, our day was long ..our car air con is not working either. I got my necklace ( I don't often wear them, I feel a little claustrophobic in necklaces sometimes) got caught in my hair, and I felt a little grumpy tugging at the pearls ripping hair out in the sticky heat. Much more comfortable out of the south east in the garden! It does get muggy other places, promise!
