Ask Azul: The Next Generation

Dear Azul,

There are AA, AAA, C, & D batteries. Wtf happened to A & B?!? :D
A & B were for commercial use and when they weren't as profitable, phased out.

actually years ago there was such a thread... got some good recipes off of it.... maybe it needs a reboot...
 See what happens when I try the sarcasm. ;)

There are actually a surprising number of non porn threads around here if you look. Lol.
There are and they make it a great place to hang when you're not as turned on.

I've actually gotten recipes off Lit that rock, including LHO's pasta bake!
 I need to pay better attention.

Do all nice high rise hotels have picture windows overlooking the city?
 Only the nice ones I like in my imagination.

Why isn't my washing machine working?

This will be difficult since I'm not there to check personally.

I would check:
-make sure it is plugged in.
-make sure that the circuit breaker wasn't tripped.

Unfortunately, that's the most I know of washing machine maintenance.
Those two would at least make sure when the sexy repair person comes out, they don't charge much to do those things.

Thanks StarryNight, Not the same one but it has some good recipe's.
:rose:

Why has this opossum taken up residence in my bedroom wall? How does he even get there? I'm in a ground floor apartment and it's made it's home at the intersection of wall and ceiling.

Possums just like most other rodents can squeeze into small spaces through any opening. I would have the landlord check the exterior of the building to see where he got in.

Your wall represents warmth, shelter and protection from predators and other things.

I hope your landlord either gives you a rental discount (fat chance) or gets the exterminator to take care of him.

Thank you oh wise one..
After a week of it moving around and then digging at the drywall it seems to have found the spot it likes and made it home. It comes wandering in from a night out carousing with it's friends between 5 and 5:30, settles in and goes right to sleep. The maintenance people have traps out to attempt to catch it, seems to be a common issue here with the wash behind us.

Yesterday was relaxing.
Today was decent.
I hope you had a great weekend.

I've been living in extremes. Either out for groceries, PT or Flag Wave then back in laying in bed with up to 2 ice packs at a time one on the front of the shoulder & one on the back.

The shoulder isn't tracking right yet so the bones are rubbing & grinding against each other... like when a football player separates his shoulder. But I'm well ahead of where I should be on the other areas so this will be fine. I was about in this spot on the other shoulder too just not as bad a pain level.

Then I have AC in my truck but with no AC in the house and no real attic vents, this place gets like a huge sweat box where the heat just presses down. Most days by 10:30 am it's close or over 100 degrees. Even trying to run the fans and draw in air doesn't help when it's pressing down from the attic.

My weekend was mixed. I spent 7 hours hanging out with a friend's 90 year old mom in the AC watching a Rays double header so she could go with some friends to a night parade. So I got to eat a couple pieces of pizza, soak in some AC & made fun of Evan Longoria. She really doesn't like that guy. Funny she's the 2nd 90 plus year old lady who loves the Rays and hates that guy. :D Funny they both love to trash talk baseball with their family who likes other teams too.
