The main issue that you keep tiptoeing around is : some of your progressive pals are Soooo boring, and they have shit (or alternatively, sex) for brains. What do you want us to do? Follow their threads and end up with a peanut-sized brain?
Not my fault that, by contrast, 3 GB R-wingers seem to have them all (brains, knowledge and a sense of humour).

I admit, freely that I may be completely wrong. But I think your trust issues with women is b/c you are gay. Geez, its nearly 2020 and no one cares about sex preference anymore. For many yrs I've read your posts and clearly you are gay. Thats a good thing. :)

There was no error in my post. :)
I have been around for 14 yrs. I've read you for at least 10. Was here for a few big things that happened. Read the meltdown with notnowhunny. Followed the humiliation when krcummings was FINALLY found out. I saw that a long time coming. And something else but I can't remember. I do remember you and..geez. He changed his name a couple times. I think he was a black guy and he could write really well also. Pretty sure he is still here just can't think of his name. I don't read the porn. I did 14 yrs ago some. Mainly since then I read the drama on the GB.It's entertaiinment enough. But a few of you stand out. Your writing is impeccable. Trust me, that was a hellacious error! ;) I would be horribly remiss as a longtime member if I didn't correct you! Although compared to some who still remain from when I popped up originally, I'm still a junior.

Why don't you read the porn anymore? I think it's much more fulfilling than simply staying here for the GB drama, which is, IMO, water weak compared to the way it used to be when multitudes of personas lived here and the pond ripples bouncing off of the stones were genuine, had actual life and flavor. So much of that dynamism is no longer here and it's in some ways become an ad hoc cubbyhole for closeted sociopaths and unfortunates needing to vent. :D Hey, I enjoy posting here, don't get me wrong, but it's not the dramas that make me wanna groove.

So, you lurk here...got that...but where do you go to contribute your voice when you wanna talk?

I highly respect you, b/c of your talent for writing. But you are really wrong on those points. I grew up not considering the color of a person's skin. In fact the first person I ever kissed was Nate, a black guy in my freshman year. We eventually went our own way b/c of his incredible intelligence. He won many academic awards and I couldn't compete. Never were we made fun of and no one seemed to acknowledge the relationship.

You seriously cannot base the countries opinion on the ppl on this forum. You're too smart for that. Besides, probably those who pretend to be racist aren't. They spew to get your goat.

I highly doubt you are ever self conscious. I do believe you are racist towards white people though. Think about this. Like I told you above I was raised not caring about the color of someones skin. I grew up not thinking race was a problem in my generation. That was something that happened in the 1950's. But since Obama was elected, for the first time in my life, I feel hated by black people no matter what I try to say or do. Suddenly, a barrier came down. Nothing about that is good. How do you think this can be resolved?

Before I consider deciding to respond to this, as harping on it matters a great deal to you and I tire of having to constantly show people with your mindset on how wrong they are about this subject mostly because this place is a piss-poor conductor for genuine race related matters due to many reasons, I invite you to read this:

Ha! I did not read this one before.

Rory, it's great that you're gay, (even though you say you've never said that you are, I know you are) except that being gay makes you distrust women. It's okay it's nearly 2020 and all forms of bigotry have disappeared. No one cares about the evil gays that don't trust the women.
