I'm not sure that these discussions on explicit ways of attempting to cheat are a good use of an author's time, or appropriate here at all.
I don't see the point of cheating. At all. And I have a hard time believing the group in question systematically games the voting. But I don't have proof one way or the other.
I did get caught up in the geeky aspects of it all, however.

But I wish I had a few authors to bounce ideas off of. I don't think there's anything wrong with their motives. And hell, everyone uses what they can to advertise themselves, no?
