It has been suggested it's something like 4%. That's amazing. 65% yellow. The rest black, brown and all the other dodgy mixes. Then the 4% beautiful blond haired blue eyed thoroughbreds (and PLEASE don't take that literally). Question is this: If you weren't one of the elite 4%, wouldn't YOU be pissed off?....

That's stage make-up to cover the red drinker's nose. Anyway, I've been dead for a few thousand years. That does tend to affect skin colour...

I doubt that I am "truly" white. I think of myself as a mutt, a mix of four or five nationalities. 100% American.

Increasingly, more and more of the world is mutts. Or you could say hybrids. It's just a word game.

And who cares? What difference does it make?
 
Why should it be greater than 4% if anthropological data shows the first humans were probably from Africa?

fewer and fewer people of the world give a shit about what shade of skin a person comes in. that's great. however, as old bigotries die out, i'm sure newer ones will fill the vacuum.

yes, i live in greater london. dagenham. and the people i mix with every single day come in all shapes, sizes, genders and religious persuasions. and arseholes come in every range, too.

that song is one of those that, when we look at it now, shocks us at the kind of casual racism that was alive and thriving in 70's britain. thank goodness those days are behind us and there's a more developed social outlook.

The way he's phrasing it I assume he would mean genetically "pure" for 'X' number of generations.

I would argue that if someone would look at you and assume then you are, if they would ask then you aren't. Like one of my best friends is white physically but he's half black. It's hilarious and everybody gives him endless shit for it.

Sounds like it. My blond-haired blue-eyed children are 1/32 black and 1/32 native.

He's a brunette but he's not 1/32 (not in the mood to do the math on how many greats that is) he's straight up half and half and both him and his brother look perfectly white, his sis is the only one who isn't really fair skinned. It's always kinda curious.

Ironically we talk and move similarly enough that people, strangers mind you, I get why some of his distant cousins might make the mistake, have asked if we're brothers. When we were young it was like, HOW IN THE FUCK DO YOU COME TO THAT CONCLUSION?! At first we assumed it was a joke since a few times it was at school and but one time we were out someplace and someone who couldn't possibly have been in on it (Unless there is an alien hivemind taking over the world and I'm supposed to be catching on about now) that there was obviously something about the way we acted together or something in how we look or some combination that suggested related.
