Writing

A relieved and happy grin dance across my face as I laugh at the utter ridiculousness that friends can whip up on the fly and share. Writing has been a challenge for me of late but not for the reasons that I had initially thought. Now that I have a better grasp of why, it will be easier to overcome this phase. Can't do anything about being busy. Life is like that. Events will skip, skitter, flash and swoop down en mass to collect like doves to crumbs to crowd up life and eat up time. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to write or that I won't steal away moments to do it.

A post has been published tonight and I'm really happy with the following paragraph. Mostly a sentence sitting in the middle but overall, content with the whole.

All of her bright, luminouscent cheer quickly vanished as a crushing feeling of betrayal locked its claws into her chest. Shock dulled her bright blue-green eyes and paled her face. The bright red blush looked like a garish splash of rouge mocking desire over her stricken form. She didn't say a word as she turned to walk out of the room and close the door.

Now for the rest! My imagination is alive. Let's see what words will follow.

Huzzah. Bring it on and let it flow sistah! *pops the cork on a bottle of bubbly.*

Bubbles! *takes a delicate glass and clinks against Katt's for a toast of good cheer* To writing!

There's mah girl. So purdy. Time to kick some kick some ass and take names. Wolf man's got nards!

Couldn't resist.
