Hi folks - if my no posting for two weeks isn't enough of a clue, Nate will be quietly dropping out. Totally lost my muse for the character and since this is a group thread I won't hold you up by trying to find it.

Please let me know if you would prefer no more posting order now that people are about to be splitting off. We're going to give some time for those 1x1's and relationships to build, but please be ready to wrap that up or at least move it to another individual thread when we're ready to start the next day.

For the MAIN thread, I think the 'posting order' scheme fits my scheduling(and pacing) all too perfect! But I realize that I may be in the minority...so it's whatever EVERYONE else wants, and I'll...continue posting when I can.

Once the party is over, I do intend for another male and female to both join the mix, so things should be picking up again. Don't give up, guys. From reading the rules and the summary, we all knew that this was an open setting, but I believe that you guys all have the talent and ability to keep things interesting. And you have!

I will write a post later today to respond to Joe, and wait to hear from the rest of you before moving things along to the morning or keeping them at the party.

Personality: Elizabeth is quiet and shy, a true Southern Belle that has been transplanted in Seattle. She has had a bad relationship in the past, making her extremely cautious and overly protective of her privacy. She is a hard worker, does any job that is given to her without complaint, and never says an unkind word about anyone. All together, she’s as sweet as the Georgia peaches that she grew up eating.

History: Elizabeth had a typical childhood. Her mother and father raised her in a happy home and she graduated high school with top honors. It was in college that everything started to fall apart. Studying art, she met Tommy Bartell, another art student with a bad streak a mile wide. He showed her the wild side of the world, helping to turn her into a full fledged alcoholic within a year of meeting her. Her addictions led to a falling out with her family and she found herself in Seattle, stranded when Tommy left her for another woman.

Now clean and fresh out of rehab, Elizabeth is trying to pick up the shattered remains of her life. First, she is trying to rebuild what was lost with her parents. Second, she is struggling to finish her college degree at the local college. Third, she is simply struggling to get by, which is why she has taken her hostess position. In her spare time, she paints and her specialty are portraits. For the right amount of money, she might be convinced to do a painting for an interested patron.

And glad to hear it, "KattDclaw"! We'll just have to be resourceful/creative -- especially you three that control Sidney, Avery, and Logan -- in terms of what was locked down to Tara's character, and what can easily be....swiiiiiiitched around, y'know??

I, for one, almost idealistically was just trying to get through my "first round" of Ethan fantasies, so that at least every lovely wee lass (heh), was tributed. Looking forward to what comes next. And of course, what the newcomer(s) bring as well!

Also, I think we should maybe stick with the party for the time being!

I intended to write Brooke earlier this weekend, but you know how life is, all unexpected and shit, haha. I should have time some tomorrow between work and volleyball practice to throw a post in for her though.

Again, no posting order, so post, post, post.

So...the more I'm thinking about the situation, and you guys can let me know if I'm unwittingly stepping on anyone's toes, I think it's an easy "patch/fix" for the characters of Sidney, Logan, and Avery:

"We/You-Three" can easily do a (1)similar scenario wherein your characters come across a house type setting, and three spots are opened for your characters. The owner renting out can be an NPC; (2)perhaps you can continue to roll with the current Church setting, and Tara can respectfully be made into an NPC.....tributed of course.....byyyyyyyy *TURNING* into Ethan's girrrrrrrrrrrlfriend!!!! (bad joke/good joke/bad joke!! sorry *grin*); (3)come up with something all together different, which may or may not include the same "living together" arrangement.

I personally, humbly(?) think that the first or second option may be the best-est. If we want to allow "Vailyn's" character to fade off into the sunset, and not acknowledge Tara(which may be the way to go, especially since she's no longer playing??)....then perhaps numero uno would be the way to go!

Again, I just wanted to give my input. So you three don't have to *FEEL* like you need your characters to be stuck or anything. It's not like "living arrangements" are really THAT important, or should trigger that much stress/hassle/life-altering-changes........riiiight? Oh wait....




Oh. And I'm still hopefully going to shoot...for doing some writing tomorrow night.
