Swords, Sex and Sorcery (D20 casting call)

Making your scythe +1 is only 2k ontop of the weapon and making it masterwork (which I think 300 extra) so you got enough. Or making your armor +1, only 1k more.

Right, I understand. Yeah I'd probably get it as Loot before I have enough to buy it. Hmmm, I have a habit of collecting Items I dont use. Can I afford to get a plus on my Sickle? And then I'll put the rest in platinum. If while I'm playing, I find I really need something, I'll try and find someone who sells it. Thanks for the help.


Skill help question. Cross-Class skills, are they still 2points = 1 rank, max ranks = half level?

You could almost say that you had been 'led astray', by him... I feel dirty after that one.

But yes, skill ranks per skill can not exceed your number of hit dice, and no, cross class skills do not cost 2 anymore, class skills just get plus three.

And yes, you can get a magic weapon, a magic sickle will cost 2306 (2000 for +1, 300 for masterwork quality and 6 for the sickle itself)

Yah. If you put a rank in a skill that is a class skill for you, you get a +3 bonus. Only if its a class skill. You can't put more ranks in a skill than you have hit dice, so no more than 4.

It gives +1 to attack and damage, also makes it more durable, but that's not important.

Masterwork gives a +1 attack, but it doesn't stack with being magical. Since its +1 enhancement bonus you just get +1 to att and damage.

So +5 to attack and 1d6+2 to damage. If you had weapon finesse you could use your dex to attack since its a light weapon but let's hope yer not doing too much melee. Since we got a paladin fighter/cleric and a melee oriented bard. haha.

I think you have too many skills now. Shouldn't it be more around 20? Depending on what your favored class bonus is. 4 + 1 from int is your skills.

Apparently Led_Astray and I worked it out as:
1st Level: (4+1int)*4 = 20+1favclass=21.
2nd,3rd,4th 4+1int+1favclass=6*3=18
21+18=39skill points, and i think i covered that Didnt i?

Hah, I see what you've done there, the +3 from being a class skill goes in the misc modifier column, and doesn't affect the maximum skill ranks you can put in to a skill.
 
That's why.

Pathfinder you don't get the initial X4. You just get your 4 + 1 for int. In Pathfinder you get +3 to the skill if you put at least 1 rank in it. 3.5 did the X4 rule. It's a little tricky and one of those in the fine print things.

I think his name clearly fits too. :p

No x4 on level 1 so i get 24 skill points
Max ranks for level four is 4ranks
+3 misc modifier bonus for class skills.

You're getting a vigorous spanking anyway, but I believe your interpretation of the rules to be absolutely correct.

An exquisitely carved shield made of simple wood, its actual use as a shield is limited, but its enchantment is quite useful for spell casters who need their hands free for casting.

Once per day, the shield can be released and independently protect its owner as per the spell 'shield' (caster level 1)

Yeah, buckler that casts a spell once per day, just sounds cooler saying that it turns in to a magical floating sheild as well.

And you can be on any ship you please, for whatever reasoning you want.
