How do you unwind?

Read, knit, crochet

Oh I miss knitting and crochet. I got carpal tunnel after my third baby and it never went away. Now the only thing I can make is hats or mittens because the tingling starts after 10 minutes and drives me bonkers!

Mostly I write...and record.

I'm so afraid of developing Carpal. I love the click of the needles, so comforting!

I swim. I read. I watch movies with headphones on and forget the rest of the world exists. I curl up in bed by myself when the room is pitch black. I just think and let my thoughts flow until I feel better or have an answer to whatever question I had in my head. I ask the boyfriend for a massage. I put a chair in the shower and have a 45 minute shower as hot as I can stand it and just sit there enjoying it. Though that is more for when I need to unwind and also have a chest cold. I take the dog for a walk and play with him in the field. I research things I am curious about on the net and zone out from the rest of the world. I call my mom and gab about absolutely nothing even a tiny bit important. I write. I make things and let my creative mind take over for a while. I ask the boyfriend to give me orgasms and then let me sleep afterwards. I drink tea.

Now that I'm thinking about it, it seems like a large part of my life is made up of unwinding.

Bert's recycling shticks. This is tilde-boy reborn as hyphen boy.

Also, almost forgot: shaddup, Bert.

I read. There is nothing that relaxes me more than losing myself in a good biography.
