The justification might be no different but the aftermath and public perception was paramount. 9/11 was that catalyst and what's more the PNAC document said as much in early 2001
Besides, that wasn't your point as you used the time between 9/11 and Iraq as a reason why it wasn't linked and you also used the excuse of WMD as the reason for Iraq and not 9/11. You can think on your feet perhaps but, not surprisingly, you can't kid a kidder.
