I agree with kitten as well. As Master_Kain pointed out, all of our characters are powerful in their own way, but they have draw backs as well. Besides, think of it this way: What fun is it that you save everybody by stepping on an enemy and not give them a chance to repay the favor? A 500 foot tall smexy elf like yourself wouldn't need anyone to help her at any point.

Powers: Matigan has the ability to influence the hearts and minds of his listeners through his music. He does not know specific spells, but instead taps into the psychic plane to reach into the minds of others. He can not SEE their thoughts. What he can do is project and make you see what is not there, or make you feel certain feelings, such as a feeling of invincibility
Personality: Matigan lives for creature comforts. His ideal evening is performing in a warm pub, drinking some free ale, winning a round of cards and then bedding one (or more, sometimes at the same time) willing barmaids. He can be sarcastic at times, but he can also be a loyal friend.
History: Matigan father was a human court musician, who travel with an ambassador to the elven court. While there, he fell in love with an elven maid and they made love for many wonderful nights. When it was time to go, she informed him that she sensed she was with child. She told him that her queen did not permit halfbreed children to remain in her realm, but that she would bring the baby to him, when it was born.
Matigan was raised in the court of a king, as the son of a favored musician. He learn his musical skill from his father and various other performing skills from traveling performers who would stop at the court. Though he loved court, he watch the performers leaving with jealousy. He knew he would join them one day. On his thirtieth birthday, he packed up his belongings, purchased a donkey, and headed out into the wide world. He has been traveling every since. The new lands are just another opportunity to learn new tales and songs and to see new places.

*nodding* I think so as well. I am pretty sure mine needs toned down among them. Just let me know what everyone else thinks about toning stuff back and I can work around it I can easil just change the race of this character to a human and that would tone him down. Removing hs mount and one thing thats enhancing his strength quiet a bit. He would still have his fury crafting abilities and gear. If that would help Kittenofdeath just let me know like I said Im flexible.

They say anticipation only makes the desire grow, I don’t think they had month long delays in mind when they say it though… Sorry bout that.
Short version is my computer died and I only just replaced it a few days ago, without it I had no way of logging on to say anything, the only other computers I had access to were on campus and blocked from places such as this, still had to use them for all my work though, that was annoying as hell.
Anyway, it is suffice to say I am terribly sorry and that I dint not intend for the absence to happen.

Holy Crap, I had kinda assumed this thread was dead after I disapeared for a month, yet here people are waiting for an IC, so I guess its not. Well, if people are still interested then I'll make the IC, whoever is still hanging around can play while we get the playerbase back up and running.

Great, I've made a player list in the first post with yours, Avellans and my characters, anyone else who had been previously approved though can also play, I just havent added them yet.

Name: Revennaras.
Appearance: Six foot eleven, three hundred pounds, mix between wolf and human. He has the human body but with wolfish features. His skin is fully furred when in his wolf form and he has blood red eyes that seem to glow with an inner evil. Is moderately to heavily muscled. (I take him as the one on the far right of the picture. And when I say far right, I mean FAR right. In the back. You'll see him eventually, but only because I pointed him out. Basic appearance is similar to the ones on the left.) Seems to carry an aura of confidence and coldness that has stopped most from interacting with him in any way, shape, or form.
Class/profession: Jack of All Trades, Master of None. (Mainly because I can’t pin him to any one class.)
Race: Lycan.
Race description: Very little is known on Werewolves, to be honest. They are very rare beings and so far none have been captured for study, and for good reason. Werewolves are vicious and brutal in combat and almost always fight to the death. True Lycanthropes are even more so. Some view it as a curse, others a gift. Only those born into it are able to infect others.
Age: 27.
Equipment: Bag of holding, hardened black leather armor, longbow, Shadowmourne (Special longsword with a curious design. It drinks the blood of its enemies, claims their souls, and whispers to its wielder. Revennaras is convinced that he is just going crazy, however.) Several daggers concealed on him in various places. Other smaller things in the various pouches on him.
Skills: Tracking, dungeoneering, stealth, acrobatics, thievery, trapping, pyrotechnics, very minimal magic affinity. Reads, writes, and speaks a variety of languages including the old Lycan language that very few know exist and even fewer understand it well enough to speak it. Writes surprisingly well, often writing more finely than scholars. His fighting style is flashy, but more of a skillfully flashy and not a showing off kind of flashy. (Know what I mean?)
Powers: Enhanced durability to the elements, night vision, ability to choose his form.
Other: Revennaras is a true Lycan, born into his gift. When he is seen he is in his changed form. None have seen his other form. His armor molds with him when he changes form so long as he is wearing it and he retains his "sanity" even in his wolf form, fighting with bow, blade, and claw. Speaks in different languages depending on his mood. Shadowmourne seems to know and understand every language that Revennaras does.
Personality: Calm, cold, calculating, and distant. Doesn’t particularly like people. He has a rather twisted sense of humor and enjoys killing things a little too much. He isn't evil, fully, but is often perceived as such due to the running stereotypes on werewolves.
History: Quite literally nothing is known about Revennaras. He stepped from the shadows around a year ago and very little has been seen of him since. There have been occasional sightings of him seemingly talking to his sword, and he is always seen in his wolfish form, much to the dismay of others, who find him to be terrifying. Only once did someone try to stop him. A town guard, drunk and looking for a promotion. Revennaras put him through a wall, plain and simple. He hasn't been so much as looked at since. Regardless of how low-profile he is, word has gotten around about him, and he is well known for his various skills.

Seems fine, but keep in mind that we already have one werewolf player, so do try to keep consistance with each other on what werewolves can and cant do.
