I hate shopping.

I hate food shopping.

I hate clothes shopping.

I hate furniture shopping.

I hate car-shopping (I intend to drive my current car until the earlier of its death or mine).

I hate looking for a house to buy (I hope never to have to sell this one and buy another).

I even hate booking holidays.

The only shopping I don't LOATHE is loitering with intent in bookshops

Hey girlie - I'll start listening to that when YOU do! ;)

Sorry, luv, I have a clause in my superwoman contract that disallows for such things. Most I can get is occasionally oversleeping and making kids late for school.
;)

I love shopping, but

I hate trying on clothes

I hate that I always buy too much food and end up throwing it away

I hate spending more money on a car than it's worth

I hate cancling holidays. :( (done that more than actually traveling)

But I absolutely love buying office suplies. Especially markers.

That and fabric, I could buy a fabric store and still want for more.

Year end review with the supervisor today. He's such an ass.

I'm not looking forward to it.

I've worked hard this year, and I'm not going to get any credit for it.

Oh well, I've prepared all I can.

Chy *hugs* I know I'm not on as much as I was, but you're one of the people I think about when I'm not here :rose: You deserve so much better!

8th wedding anniversary today :D Just a shame I had to have 3 teeth out too :(

Good luck Wenchie. I've got mine tomorrow and I feel much the same.

Just had a phone call from my husband. Not spoken to him in months.

Apparently he's getting married on 28th May. Which means he needs decree absolute by 13th May, and therefore decree nisi by 31st March. We'd always said we'd get divorced at some stage but we were both too lazy to do anything about it.

I had no idea he was even engaged!

Well I guess I'd better await his solicitors' papers and then spring into action myself!

Wish I'd had more warning and thus less time-pressure on this, but at least all the hassly bits will presumably be out of the way by the end of next month so the light is already showing at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks. :)

I just got a text asking me to pick up some product we are low on...which is going to bring back a comment that was made last time the supervisor was there about us having to borrow a lot of product and thus meaning I'm not doing my job right.

Okay, we did have to borrow a bit more than allowed this month, but it is still a hell of a lot better than when the last guy did it. It's been one or two things we need, last guy that did it, we had to borrow 6-8 things at a time.

My ex and I were physically (but not leagally) seperated for 3 years before we finally got divorced. I refused to pay a penny for it, or put up with any of the hassle, hince the long wait. And he was content to leave it as it was as well. . . until he met his current girlfriend. I still swear that she is the one that pushed his hand in the mater. Tho I stood my ground and refused to let her into any of it. Not that I intended nor did cheat him out of anything, we had an agreement before the lawers got involved, and that was all I wanted.

After that, I started hearing from him less and less, and now it's been over a year since I heard from him. I worry about him. I still think she's not good for him.

ROFL

I am SO gonna use that phrase some time. Loitering with intent in a bookshop. That's totally me.

So I bought this lipbalm and didn't realize it had peppermint in it. I hate peppermint on my lips, it feels all tingly and weird and itchy.

Now what to do with it?

Try it on other body parts, where the tingling and weirdness might bring about some unexpected results/side effects...

I hope all our Aussie Litsters are faring OK during this cyclone.

:rose::rose:
Weren't they just getting flooded?

*mentally makes a note to really, really try catching the news more often*

I bought my first toy yesterday. :0
Yeah you! What kind did you get? I was always a really big fan of Tonka trucks. And the little green army men. Usually running the little green army men over with the Tonka truck, but you know... all fair in love and war.

I want to run away from home
Me too...

You wanna run away together? We could find a magical house in a quiet neighborhood that has a continuous supply of sewing supplies for you and painting supplies for me. And it'll have a really fun BDSM club without any assholes or usesers of the bad kind just down the block.

It feels good to be writing and editing 'the novel' again. It feels right this time. Maybe the time is now...

Nah, I'm a snob when it comes to toys. Specific action figures (usually rare ones, exclusives, oldies, or all three) or designer vinyl toys. -adjusts monocle-

It was actually a wireless egg for S and I to play with when we're out and about during his visit in a month~ 83

Only if I can dress you up in my pretties and you'll snuggle with me every night.
