Valentine's Day 2011 Contest Support Thread

Could it be that the Scouries and Freddie love story is coming to a close?

Laughing my ass off :D

Still working on mine. Got them met, but still working on getting them connected and getting to the part that's more or less completely written in my head. I had the opening and the closing acts, but they're being a pain in the ass about the middle.

I believe the proper phrase in regards to what Scouries just did to Freddie is "threw him under the bus." In any case I"m thinking of doing a Valentine's Day story

Why am I not surprised? Out of nowhere pops the infamous PrinceessErin/ bakedboss. And threatening again to try to ruin the contest system here at LITEROTICA.

You’re ralphie too aren’t you my dear?

Freddie :D is a giant among you pygmy’s who continue to hurl you little barbed arrows at him. Undoubtedly one of LITEROTICA’S Top Ten All-Time Authors!

And this sick person who would have us believe THAT someone called CarBuffBaby has something to do with BOSTONFICTIONWRITER :D is a fool.

The true story of what’s been happening up in Boston will soon be revealed by James R Scouries. It's a true HORROR story!

Yeah and poor, innocent, honest, mister fair play Freddie :D is still bleeding from the knife sticking out of his back.

Scouries, Have you ever actually read any stories posted under the name BOSTON FICTION WRITER?

I don't think you can reach Scouries at the moment, Box. He's off in one of his "impossible stretch" fantasies. He's not about to admit to anything remotely connected with reality. The biggest kick he gets at these times is in anyone trying to "make him see reason."

Gotta feel sorry for Freddie, though, when even his confessionals are met with disbelief and doubt. :D

QUOTE ralphie What does it matter, Scouries? ... It's always been about the story. My personal goal is to enter 100 stories in a contest or at least 500,000 words. What do you think?

…even Laurel posted … Next, you'll be wanting to limit readers.

Maybe we should institute a rule where we writers must pay for every story entered… as there are too many twisted people here, such as yourself, who don't like writers that are so prolific.

For the record, I am Andtheend, Bostonfictionwriter, CarBuffStuff, PositiveThinker, WmForrester, and now SuperHeroRalph.

I wrote the most read story in all of 2010, I Love You Mommy, by WmForrester, with nearly 600,000 reads and closing in on 1,000 votes. Modesty, when it comes to my writing is not my strong suit. I'm having way too much fun…

First off let me address your last claim: “that you wrote the most read story in all of 2010”

Quite simply that’s untrue. A lie in fact. One, there are no stories yet published on LITEROTICA by Ralph. Claiming someone else’s work as your own is the lowest of the lows.

Two, if you check post #9522 by the adorable Gabby  in the SCOURIES thread that lists the ten most read “new” stories of 2010 I don’t think you’ll find the name WmForrester anywhere.

Third, for your information, the story “Ohhh Mommy”, I Groaned, by yours truly sold more than 808,000 LITEROTICA copies in 2010 (and received over 3900 votes!).

So my good man neither WmForrester nor you had the #1 best seller in 2010.

I’ll address the rest of your stupidity later…

Scouries, please stop shitting all over this thread and leave if for what it was meant to be the contest thread. Go post on your own thread and I wish others would leave you alone to post whatever you want without posting shit on your thread.

Now, allow me to clarify my claim.

I wrote the most read 'new' story I Love You Mommy, by WmForrester, Me, from the period of October 2009 until October 2010.

Now, if you can find a story that has amassed more hits, reads, or in your case, sales, than the just under 600,000 that I compiled, please name the story.

Even though you are very entertaining and I don't know how you got my Mom's photo of me in a bunny suit, this is the last time I will address this, as I won't be party to your lunacy.

I am not Bakeboss although there is no way to prove that.

I only play by the rules.

Princess, we all know two things about you, you are as crazy as a loon and you are Bakeboss. There is no mistake. You both write the same shitty, short stories that have no beginning, middle, and end, no plot, and no character development.

Now for you to escape the wrath of the Survivor moderators by posting whatever nonsensical stories you write in any category you deem, either they hate me, which they do, or you are a plant so that no one wins first place in Survivor.

Now, I'm offering you the olive branch. Let's not spend another year bickering, as we did in 2008 and 2009. Can we just ignore one another?

You don't refer to me by name or implication and I'll pretend you don't exist. Okay?

Box, chill.

I don't bother you, so please don't start with me.

Let's have a great 2011. For once let's just write stories and stop with all the nonsense that goes back 3 and 4 years. Okay? Please?

Just for your information, SR, I'm nominating you and others as the most influential writer for 2010 because, without doubt, with all the help you freely offer other writers, you are.

Your talent is unappreciated because this site lumps all of your stories in one category, as gay. Literotica should have more gay and lesbian categories instead of just combining them all ltogether.

Good luck in 2011.

*shakes head still not getting the whole "alt" thing* Listen, I could understand if you were writing completely different genres and needed to separate/differentiate yourself for obvious purposes. (Example: Writing erotica AND picture books.) But, if you are writing erotica under all the names, what is the point? Are you trying out new personas? If it's a matter of people receiving say a female differently than a male, well then what about just 2 alts?

I'll admit I was fooled. But, then the author was honest with me and came clean, which I appreciated it. They had an OK explanation as to their reasoning behind it. But....guys, I just don't get it! Are there more men who take on alts than women?

Please enlighten me further.

The snow is gorgeous! Last night it was enchanting. It looked like fairy dust as it fell sparkling to the ground. Now it is glimmering in the sunlight and when I can work up some energy, I'm going to go out make a snow angel and take a snowy winter walk and maybe even play. :)

In my case, I started Les for stories outside the fantasy world where most of my stories take place. I was getting irritated at readers complaining whenever I'd post a new LST3K or a Laresa chapter because I "should have been writing ( insert story/character ) instead." I created Les with the plan for the name to be secret originally, so I could post stories there and keep them off the radar of those complainers.

I ended up going public with the name before too long because it accomplished the goal without the need for secrecy. A few people still grumble, but the separation otherwise seems to work.

My third name is for throwaway stroke, and a bit of an experiment to see what sort of ratings I could get without name recognition. That's why I still don't acknowledge it.

So, there's my reasons :D

Dark, but you at least TELL people you are both Dark AND Les. I meant more those who hide it completely. You have sound reasonings. Eh, while I might like to read some of your experimental stroke, I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch over not knowing. *LOL* For that matter, I don't care how many alts people have. I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter and why the need for such secrecy.

Thanks though! How've you been?? I'm so glad to hear you are over that bit of a slump! :)

I wouldn't call it "over the slump" yet. This story is still coming out fitfully, and a couple of others that I started stalled when I hit a point where I felt I stretched suspension of disbelief too far. Trying to bring those back to earth with some musing.

When I first started writing stories in 2005 a number of people told me that they liked my romantic stories but not my loving wifes and revenge stories. Some even said they wouldn't read any more of my stories. I was told to use two names. One for the hard sex stories and one for the others.

I chose to just use the one name. I happy that I could ruffle feathers by just changing categories. I write what comes into my mind. I am an amature and write for fun. Maybe if I considered a writing career (will never happen) I would have considered an alt.

I believe some use an alt for comment and vote perposes. Also I have a couple of author fiends that changed their writing names. Of course their older stories are still listed under their previous name. More than 2 names, I don't understand but I really don't care. Everyone has their own reason and it it doesn't affect me in the least.

Does anyone else have a story ready to submit. I might have a chance if there are only three stories submitted.:D
Good luck to all that enter.

I have found that I do have to write at least some of the different categories under separate names here to have the stories read without a bias--or a vengeful response. My main account is under sr71plt, which is mainly for my gay male stories, with GM stories here inevitably attracting disapproving vote zappers off the top.

I have written stories across the category boards and posted them under the sr71plt name, but even though the straight and lesbian ones have done well under that name (and I have green Es on stories in all those categories), the sr71plt name is only seen as being done by a gay author (even though I'm bi. Sex is sex is sex; it's all good with a willing partner of either gender). So, I have other alts I post under too that stick to categories other than gay--and, surprise, surprise, the stories there are much higher rated than the ones in the sr71plt account.

Beyond that, I co-write with another author here, and the system forces those stories to be posted under a separate alt (Shabbu).

Well little ralphie I do think a couple of points should be made.

One, for all your claims of being someone else you still don’t have any stories up under your posting name. ZERO! You’re not an author you are a poser.

Two, your claim to be WmWhoever and that you ”wrote the most read story in all of 2010, I Love You Mommy, by WmForrester” was proven wrong and still is wrong. Now you’re claiming it was a 2009 story! And my dear boy(?) it was still outsold by “Ohhh Mommy”, I Groaned.

Three, your, ”leave if for what it was meant to be the contest thread” seems to ignore the fact that my original post is solely concerned with contest issues. Perhaps you misunderstood. So I’ll explain it as clearly as I can – I believe that your planned posting of 20 or 30 stories in every 2011 contest is a disservice to everyone involved and that it shouldn’t be allowed. And I’ll continue to express this view as long as you (or anyone else for that matter) continues to hog the spotlight with their oversized ego.

Only a spoiled brat would do what you’re planning. You’d be far better off playing in a sandbox with others of your mental age. Come back when you've grown up a little...

I submitted two stories yesterday, but they haven't posted yet. I expect to finish the first draft of a third story today, and submit it later this week.
