In my time at Lit I've gone through lots of changes... I've been on a journey to find myself and fall in love with myself. I am so much closer to that goal than I've ever been in my life. I have many people to thank on that journey but my husband, D, and my lover, J, most of all... their love and acceptance through everything has been life changing.

When I first came I posted pics for attention and validation... and I suppose in this, my 4th thread, this is still true but there has been a shift of need. Since the deletion of my last thread I've found that I have made some amazing friends here at Lit. This thread will be different, I will still post pics, some old ones, some new ones... I want a place to communicate with them, to share our thoughts, celebrate erotic thoughts and pictures.

Brad - I love that - I'm reinventing the thread, but I'm rediscovering myself. I have heard from so many women in their 40's that this is the time in their life where they come to love themselves, appreciate who they are. It's sad really that it takes us that long. More than one of us have said we'd like to go back to our 20's knowing what we know now... wow.

I think this has been what I have been discovering in my 40's... not even so much as looking beyond the imperfections but realizing that everything works together to make AJ who she is... I posted a pic on my last thread that showed stretch marks and my c-section scar and made a comment about my imperfections.... the response to the pic and my comments astounded and flattered me.

I am happier than I've been in my lifetime.... the following picture was one that captured the essence of my naughty side....

Thank you! I am always delighted when someone who's been lurking takes the time to reveal themselves...

As for finding yourself... my advice to you... don't hope... do. There is no time like the present. Just know that the person you find this week may evolve into someone different next year. Opening myself up to all the possibilities has been very rewarding.
