help please x

hi,
I've been on here a while but never actually posted, and would like to ask if possible for some help please. i've reacently started seeing this guy and have always been interested in BDSM, but never found someone to play with. since meeting with this guy i have discoverd that he is quite keen and has had past experiences and would quite like to give it a go with me. i know in theory what it entails and i'm quite happy to give it a go, but a bit unsure where to start. i would really apprechiate it if anyone can help me as i want to make this as pleasurable experience as possible for us both. i have in the past had ex's who were slightly into this but it seemed to be me being the submissive one (which tbh i prefer but fair's fair!!)
