Did some tying tonight. Something a bit different. I was inspired by a photo I saw on a site with some Gorean elements to it. A particular pose was just really intriguing. I decided I wanted to put viv in that pose and tie her there.
From talking to someone, it is called the "Prostrate" position (I think)

Another element that makes this different was that I explicitly planned this tie to allow for sexual intercourse. Often times the ties look great but prevent, or make difficult, any sort of sexual congress. This tie did not have that problem.
And, yes, the wraps over her ass make for a great handle. You might say that it was designedf that way,.

To talk about the tie itself, I honestly only had a vague idea of where I was going with it when I started. I don't usually plan these things too awful much. I get a particular pose or posture or element in mind and go from there. In this case, it was the "Prostrate" pose, and the idea that I wanted sexual availibility during the tie.
It is one thing to stand back and be meditative and calm while applying rope. It is another thing entirely to be creating on the fly and keeping my gal on the edge of orgasm the whole time. It is nothing short of edifying to have her writhing in place and begging permission when I'm doing nothing but tying.
The point to all of this is to remember that the core to all this tying and art and load-design and nerve-compression awareness all still boils down to blisteringly hot arousal. It's fucking hawt, and that is why we do it.
(And, for those who are following along at home, Mr. Wooden Ruler came out for this scene as well. So, so, so enjoyable.)

And that's another major problem. Getting someone to watch the kids for a long weekend is a nightmare. So both of us going is almost impossible. Yeah, I can travel without viv, but, wow, it sucks to go do something like this and not have her with me.

Homburg has corrupted me...I have had nice rope and messed around with it for a couple years now, but after finding this thread rope has taken on a whole new dimension in my life (that would be a thank you not a criticism by the way )
second, I need longer rope. I always thought I had a gracious plenty, but have discovered my longest piece isn't even a third as long as I need to do anything remotely interesting
Third, I need a play partner other than my pillow lol. Tying up a pillow is great practice for looping rope, practicing knots etc etc, but it just doesn't wiggle right
I have a pillow I tie up as often as I feel like it...I call it fluffy...someone once told me I need to get a life...I think I am starting to agree

I have lost track of how much rope I have.
30m of crimson Japanese jute
50m of undyed hemp that I conditioned
10m of high-grade twisted black nylon yachting rope for primary suspension line duty (2800# test, so seggsy)
25m of lovely flax
50m of hot pink MFP
50m of deep purple MFP
20m of acid green MFP
20m of purple nylon/poly blend
A truly ludicrous assortment of nylon/poly blend undyed. Seriously. It's a silly amount. Probably 200-250m or so
50m or so of 8mm pure nylon
With the exception of the last stuff, it's all 6mm. The majority is in 10m/30ft lengths. For me, 10m/30ft, and 6mm/0.25" is perfect. It really is the length and diameter where I'm happiest.
And there's more rope than that. That's just the stuff I can think of off the top of my head. I probably have 30-50m of nylon/poly in the trunk of the car. Ya never know when an oppurtunity might pop up, right?
