Happy notes here - this is a place to let your AH friends know that you will be off doing real life holiday visiting and so may not be around for a few days. I got the idea from Sensual Cealy (see below).

I'll start: I will be off visiting family and will have intermittent net access until Wednesday. Wishing all my Lit friend a merry Christmas, and a happy new year filled with peace, prosperity and fulfillment. :rose:


Vana is off to visit family in South Africa, and has posted well wishes elsewhere.

Anyway I will be around but in the big truck... someone has to get all of your mail and packages to the right places by the big day.
 
Starting this afternoon through Sunday night, I may or may not be on. I have LOTS to do to ensure that the big red gentleman looks like a hero and retains my daughter's belief. (She's 11 and still believes. :nana: )

Thnak you LIzzy. We often forget that there are a ton of people who make christmas possible with driving trucks and carrying and sorting and all kinds of stuff.

I'm sure I'll be around... we're not going anywhere far and I try to keep it all as low-key as possible... it's about love and connection and remembering the part in all of us that "knows"... I try to do that every day, too, not just on "that" day.

But there is something magical about that Christmas tree... and I had to laugh, we have a strand of about thirty lights right in the middle that just started blinking out of nowhere... after the tree's been up for weeks! lol Crazy...

Anyway, I'll be around... :heart:

I'm not going anywhere but since my parents are coming to stay tomorrow till Tuesday, I may not be on much during that time.
 
I'll be on the road from Sunday morning through Tuesday evening.

Hope everyone has a safe, healthy, and joyous holiday(s). :kiss:
 
The missus and I will be leaving in a few hours, be on the road until around 5pm UK time......traffic permitting. Staying in a hotel for a couple of nights. christmas Day with my folks, my sister and brother in law and might even have a sighting of little brother and his wife. Back on the road on Boxing Day (Tuesday to non Commonwealth AH-ers), hopefully home just after lunch.

I hope you all have a great time over the holiday, and if not, that at least you manage to find some peace and joy relevant to you, if only for a short while.

We'll be thinking of you all.

In typical Zade Style I couldn't find the actual In/Out thread, so I'm using the Christmas one :rolleyes:

It's been a rollercoaster of a few years since I joined back in 2001. I've made friends, made enemies, fallen in love, out of love, laughed, cried and enjoyed the unflinching support and wonderful diversity of you guys.

But every dog has its day, and with the commitments of life and work mine on Lit is drawing to a close.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the fun times, and please be good to each other in the future. I need a fresh start, so my profile and stories will be gone in a few days.

I hope life treats you all well. I'll still be around on email, so it's not an ultimate goodbye. But I won't be around on Lit anymore.

And seeing as it's my last post I can get away with saying whatever I like :cool: So I'm hoping Scouries takes the red pill and arrives back on planet Earth soon, Cloudy keeps stocked up on evening primrose capsules, and that the AH's new generation of crusty old men have a crisis of confidence that silences them in their opinions for a bit :devil:
