*Coughbullshgitcough* L.A. Maybe. But Cali on the whole doesn't live in fear of any one nationality except maybe illegal immigrants.

LT has an overblown sense of how bad ass the black people are in California. The only reason they can get you fired or blacklisted is because California's generally so liberal it hurts and they give "minorities" anything they want.

But that's not the case for all Californians. In some parts the black people tried what LT espouses. They don't anymore. They found some people are meaner and bader than they are.

Maybe they are trying to exercise their rights under the constitution. You remember those rights: Right to free speech, right to assembly. The police are just protecting that group's rights just like they did the million man march to Washington led by Louie Farakahn.

What I am saying here LT, is that this is America. We have rights that are guaranteed to us by our constitution. The constitution isn't black nor white and stands for all of our citizens. When you start censoring one group because you don't like what they say, then all groups, black or white fall into that same censorship, which goes against what the constitution protects.

Not at all. I am talking about our rights under the Amendments to the Constitution.

You know LT, about 10 years ago, 3 white guys chained a black man to the back of a pickup truck and drug him to death here in Texas. There was such an uproar by the white community over this crime that the D.A. sought the death penalty for all 3 of them. It was a hate crime. They were found guilty and I know that 2 of them were put to death, I'm not sure what happened to the 3rd guy.

Oddly, the black community, didn't get much help from the black leadership.
By the way, George W. Bush was then govenor here and he refused to put a stop to the executions of those guys. In fact, I remember him making a public statement about it.
