I have to be there in the morning, and aren't leaving until the next day. Frankly, I am not in the mood to go, but too bad so sad.

I have no evening plans, don't know any restaurants, and would love to find a good pub too (since I can sleep in late on friday).

Who has a good suggestion for me?

I went to a bar in Dallas, circa 2000. A band with a black lead singer was performing.

They ended with Thank You Falletme Be Mice Elf Agin. The singer said something akin to, "And what's great is that we can all live together, get along together, no matter where we come from, or what we look like. Right?"

The white guys in cowboy hats glared at him. Still, the set was good.

Check out the West End. It's been renovated the past 2 yrs. Historical, educational, sidewalk cafe's, and fun to party late night.....so I hear. ;)

Cool, thanks. Any particular place, so I can map it?

Actually, its' amazingly simple. Surprised me when I first moved here.

At DFW airport, take Trinity Railways straight to it. (2 stations I think). You get off and ask anyone or just follow the signs. Don't even need a cab. It's right on the JFK assassination route. I've been there a few times (day and night) and never had a problem. Hard to get lost. The people are great, but fair warning, its' got same elements as NYC.

Cool! Thank you very much.

I'm no help, just been in the airpost about half a dozen times.
the airport is very far from anything vaguely resembling civilzation. Thus, hit a bar at DFW before the ride into town.

My brother's band is playing there this weekend...I think you'd like it.

I'm no help, but lucky me will be in your favorite airport tomorrow.
Will you wear your, uhm, biking gear? (embarassment). I have to say, Collette, that is a VERY nice ass in you AV. I LOVE that ass and everything attached to it. Sweet. Sorry honey, I had to say that. I don't do that often.(embarassed again).
