...and treat each other with respect and civility you aren't worthy of anybody's time. Things sent to you in email or a PM should be held in trust unless you have the sender's explicit approval to disseminate them further.

Have your little hissy fits, stomp your cyber feet, throw your cyber arms akimbo in virtual tantrums if that's the level you want to interact on, but don't expect the rest of us to treat you like an adult if your actions mimic an adolescent.

Sheeesh. If you honestly don't know better, then go to MySpace or someplace better suited to your emotional maturity. In other words: Grow up.

And if you're about to protest and explain, I'm definitely talking to you.

WORD!

"But I'm friends with that person."

"But they don't post my pm's."

"But they aren't that way off the boards."

"But it's only a facade they use while they post here."

Don't grow up too much, its no fun.

I mean, think of the loss of opportunity for goof threads!

but,,,but,,, this place is ALL about the drama.... oh and shaved pussy threads

Freedom is an interesting thing in the land of the web that's for sure. I understand what you're saying and you know that I adore you, but I would just like to stand up for myspace for a moment.

It is gaining a bad rap and if you haven't been to 'my space' at my space then you are speaking based on the opinions of the Lit masses without actually knowing much about it yourself.

My Lit friends there are very nice and so are the friends that I've made based on location and similar interests. I don't go to the message boards there at all accept the arts and culture section to make announcements.

myspace has turned out to be a great place to have wonderful mature communications with only the people I choose to be my friends and I have never experienced any of the weird stuff that people seem to associate that site with.

It saddens me that very few people can potentially ruin something that is serving a large number of people very well. Now its like its more embarasing to mention that I go to myspace than this site right here.

Welcome to the world of diversity. Some birds just aren't as pretty as others and the ugly ones can sometimes be the noisiest.

Why be a whiner when you can be a winner?

I haven't been here since yesterday at breakfast- did I miss something?

It take nothing to bring a place down.

My kids go to my space all the time, and have a great time. My son met a girl there from another town and went on a date. Her mother checked his ID to make sure he was how old he said he was. Things can work just fine.

Nah, probably not. I can't sort out the reality from the fanning the flames from the utter bullshit - and I didn't mean to cast aspersions on MySpace, btw - but I obviated sorting it out when I closed with, "... if you're about to protest and explain, I'm definitely talking to you."

And who, exactly, elected you to speak for the rest of us? What a freakin' self-important douchebag.

LOL there goes Weevil, acting out his bad boy fantasies again. I bet you'd do anything to get back into high school and get back at those nerds who kicked you around.

I exercise the same right to express myself that you do.

Carry on.

Sure but you have no right to speak for anyone but yourself. If you don't want to treat someone as an adult, then congrats. But don't assume you speak for one sort of community standard here.
