How To Use This Thread

Character Needed: Abused wife.

Concept:

• I will write 2 male characters:
  • Victor Bowers: An abusive husband who beats his wife and forces himself upon her.
  • Harvey Taylor: An APS "Blackcats" military contractor to whom she goes for help.
• The concept is this:
  • A few days after the Blackcats arrive at Ravenswood, Harvey sees the black eye your character is sporting and -- from his experience -- understands that she is being abused.
  • Your character can react to his expressed concerns in whatever way you want to write her.
  • Victor will continue to abuse your character for several days or even weeks, depending upon how often we post and where the Primary IC Thread's timeline places us. (The detail in which this occurs is up to how comfortable you are with writing acts of abuse. We can totally "fade to black" on the abuse if you are not comfortable with writing such things.)
  • Harvey acts to help your character.
  • Initially, this help backfires: Victor simply strikes out more violently.
  • Ultimately, though ... well, let's see what happens, okay?

How we will write this:

• Posts that everyone should read will be posted in the Primary IC.
• When two or three of our characters are involved in back and forth posts that are shorter and more personal -- such as arguments, fights, sex, etc. -- we will start a 1x1 thread and post it into the Primary at the appropriate place in the time line.
• If you are interested in the female role and want to know more about how to do this, please PM me. It's a simple concept that is sometimes hard to explain here in just a couple of lines.

Character Needed: Attractive female store owner (25-45).

Concept:

• My character, Robert "Bobby" Reed:
  • An 18-20 year old "boy" of a man.
  • His parents were away when the initial attacks occurred. They haven't been heard of since.
  • He has been living in his home alone but may have to find other arrangements.
  • He is a "bag boy" at the local grocery store.
• Your character:
  • A 25-45 year old woman on her own (single, widowed, divorced).
  • Since "Bomb Day", her business -- a grocery, a shop, your call -- has struggled to get inventory and stay open. Bobby, who has worked for you for 2 years, has stayed by your side. (He has a "thing" for you, and that's never been a well kept secret.)
• What happens:
  • Something occurs that causes tension between your character and one or more of the Blackcats. (We can discuss ideas.)
  • Your character solicits Bobby -- with promised or even delivered sex -- to "deal with" the Blackcat.
  • The outcome is not guaranteed, depending upon how we write this and where we want to take this. Bobby could very well be killed; and the situation your character is in could very well become worse. We can discuss the options, but we'll keep the outcome to ourselves so that the readers don't know what to expect.
