-in the Castle of a great king who ruled a land known as Lyth a mage one who is currently at apprentice level he studies hard and is sometimes asked to protect the princess but recently since he has been there the princess has been acting braty and stuck up this annoyed him this has been goign on for 5 years now he was there since he was 18 she was 13 and he didnt like it but now that she was of age he thought she was gonna change but of course he was wrong it only got worse and worse today he hoped he wouldnt have to put up with it but it was only hope as he sat in his study relaxing reading his magic book-

Princess Annabell was used to getting whatever she wanted when she wanted. After all she was a princess. Her parents every once in a while calling a mage to come and protect her. She didn't like it. She hated having some one baby sit her. But it was part of the job, thats what the King and Queen told her every time she would complain to them.

Annabell looked out at the grounds. It was a nice day out. She wanted to go outside so she got ready. "Bethany go get the mage I would want to go outside." The servent did a curtsy "yes your highness." She went and knocked the mages door.

-The mage answered-"Who is there"-he asked as Bethany Entered-"My Apologies Young Mage but The princess wants to go out would you please escort her"-He cringes-"Ok and again my name is Kilik "-he said as he put on his robe under nieth it was dressed like this normally but added a white hood with it-

-when he came out he saw the princess she has been trying to get him in trouble recently when its not his fault he groans and put the smile on his face and made him self happy-"Morning princess where would you like to go"

Princess Annabell came out of her room. Kilik came out of his study. "Out in the garden. Its a beautiful day. Unlike you I like to spend such nice days outside." She began to walk outside. Inside she was wondering what new scheme she could come up with to get him away from her.

-he would have to keep his guard up today he sighed-"I do suggest to go outside but when i do you bitch about it your highness"-he said as he looked to her and looke daround th ebirds chirped the clouds shifted lightly as he looked around him the sun shown the wind lew nicely he smiled-

The princess ignored his comment. She found a nice shady tree to sit under. She took a seat. She looked up to the sky for a while. Thinking. What is going to tell her parents this time to get rid of the mage. It would have to be something really bad. Because she tried everything in her power before. She tought a while. -he sat under the same tree but 90 degrees directly from her he held him self up by the back of the tree relaxing and breathed easy the tree was shady the sun shown the wind blew the day was nice and if the princess didnt pull any thing it would stay that way the last time he ended up getting the duty of cleaning stables thats been the worse but would ther ebe anythign else she would put him through why did she hate him he though she was quite cute but why like this-

Annabell looked at Kilik. "Could you go and get Bethany. I would like something out of my room." This is were the plan would either go her way or it wouldn't. Being snobby was just her way of keeping people at bay.

-he looked to her and said it flat out-"Is it important"-he said when she nodded he left her for th emoment as he grabed bethany and they walked back in front of her-

There was a smirk on the princess's face. The mage had taken the bait. She stood up when servant came to her. She talked low so only Bethany could hear. The girl was soon off. "Thank you Kilik" Annabell said rather pleastantly.

The princess had taken a seat on the ground again. Bethany came back a few minutes later. "Stay for a moment." She wrote a note on the scroll. She handed all the writing instruments back to her maid-in-waiting. "Be sure the King and Queen get this." She then picked up the book and started to read. Ignoring the fact that Kilik was there.

-kilik smiled and leand to the tree- "so you wanted to write a message?"-he said as he sighed softly-"why do you hate me"-he said as he relaxed against the tree-"you better watch who your mouth off to the captin of the guard looks like he is ready to get at you "-he said as he groaned crackign his back-

Annabell looked up from her book. "Yes and I wanted my book." She went back to reading. The mage still asking questions. "Because you don't shut up." She laughed at that. It really wasn't that she hated him personally. She hated anyone who her parent's hired to protect her. "But if he does try anything it will be off with his head." She had said over the top of her book.

Annabell enjoyed the outside world. She looked at kilik. By this time tomorrow he would be in the locked up. Her parents would be looking for a new guard to replace him. While Annabell would be trying to find a reason why she didn't need any protection. But in reality she did. But a hot headed 18 year old princess didn't know that. She kept reading her book.

-he looked back at her as he made his magic rays of light he looked back at them and imagined becoming wizard of the court hat a thing to be but he needed more training and a wizard to pass him he sighed heavily-"so what book are you reading"

"Oh just catching up on my studies. Even a princess has to study." She said coldly. Annabell decieded that it was time to go inside. She starting to get hot and Lunch would soon be served. She closed her book. Standing up. "Let's go inside."

-he nods and walks with her as he nods to her answer-"True if your studying manners that would help to"-he said a bit coldly back-"when we return in side i must continue my studies"-he said-

Annabell made her way into the castle. Bethany was waiting to recieve them. "Princess, young mage. The king and queen request both your presences in the main chamber." Annabell smiled. Was this the moment she had been planning. She made her way to where her parents were waiting.

-Kilik Sighed this sounded horror from above as he feared the worst he slwoly made his way tot he main hall following both bethany and the princess Kilik scensed something else but he would have to wait till the king has made his announcment-

The king stood up. "Mage Kilik it has come to our attetion that you left our daughter Princess Annabell unattended while she was outside." He looked sternly at the young man. "Is this true?"

Annabell wanted to smile. But she knew that if she did it might ruin her plan. This was her one chance to get the mage fired.

-he looked up and had his ear sperck up slightly looking to the princess he looked back to the king-"You highness as true as that is it was a direct order from the princess her self to fetch her hand maiden"-he said he feared one of two things beign fired wasnt one bing killed and being put in the lock up th edungeon he feared both he looked to the king for his answer-

The princess had walked up to her rightful place, next to the king and queen.

The King looked at the mage. "Well if my daughter Princess Annabell had asked you to something illegal would you do it? I think not. What you did weather or not Annabell asked you to or not was against your orders. You were told not to leave her alone. You shall be locked in the dungon." The king called for the guards to take the mage away.

Annabell was over-joyed. This was her wish. Sooner or later though he would be replaced. It always happened.

The king and queen look at the princess. "There is a loaf of bread in the kitchen. Go and take to the mage. He does need to eat prisoner or not."
They left to the Castle grounds. For the rountine afternoon stroll.

"Yes sir" Annabell said as she curstied to her father. She walked into the kitchen. She got the loaf of bread and carried it down to the mage. Why do I have to do this. There is other palace workers.
