Kelly was the girlfriend of a very powerful and dangerous female mobster. Her girlfriend was the only girl taken seriously in the mob. Kelly had been her loyal girlfriend for four years. Today was their four year anniversary. Kelly had cooked a romantic meal for the two of them. She had her girlfriends presents all sorted. She was really excited for her to get home. Their table was set. The food ready and the candles light. She sat in the kitchen sipping on her glass of wine tapping her heel clad foot on the floor, impatiently waiting for her girl to get home. She was watching the clock just wanting her girlfriend to get home to her.

Maddy, known only as Maddy by Kelly, had just gotten home from a long, exhausting day of negotiations.

It was tough being a woman in this line of work. But it was a role she fought hard for and the respect was well earned. At least by some. She had built her business up from nothing and by the time she was 30, she had become successful. Growing up in a small 2 bedroom apartment with her parents and now, she owned a gorgeous 5 bedroom home, the best security and her reward for it all?

Kelly.

Madeline knew tonight was a special night and more than anything, she wanted to just spend a quiet evening in with Kelly but knew that she had planned something and so Maddy didn't want to disappoint her.

Walking in the front door and then entering the security code to lock the front gate up, she hurried upstairs because she needed to change.

After 20 minutes, she came back down stairs, dressed in a black cocktail dress, heels and a gift in hand, she knew Kelly was waiting for her.

Peeking in the dining room, she saw her sweetheart, sitting there, fidgeting at the table, waiting on her.

"Hello Love... happy anniversary," Maddy said, walking over and giving Kelly a kiss on the lips.

Kelly and Maddy had been together for four happy years. Kelly had come from a poor family from the lower side of town. Unlike Maddy she had a small family whom she didn't see anymore. Her family didn't approve of who she chose to be with.

It wasn't that Maddy was a mobster it was that she was a woman. Kelly didn't care. When she met Maddy her life changed, instead of being all gloom real happiness came for her.

"Hi huni happy anniversary." She said with a big grin on her face. She loved Maddy so very much. She got up out of her seat.

"You look stunning." She said before kissing her. "Sit down I'll get our food out." She said.

Kelly loved to cook and was pretty good at it. She had made her classic Alfredo Pasta.

She plated the food up and then put the plates on the table. She poured Maddy a glass of wine and then sat down.

"Can you believe its been four years? I must be doing something right for you to keep me around for four years." She said as she dug in to her pasta.
