The big wigs at the dome are at it again. Bunch of grinches. :grumble icon
They fattened up their wallets and bank accounts on the state dime.
And now they expect us all to shell out more money for taxes on property.

The Kraft footbridge? Nice little head line-
My governor backed off from using stimulus money for the bridge because
the Feds got wind of it.

State Withdrew Pats Bridge Funds Amid Fed Questions
Officials Object To Spending

The Federal Inspector General started asking questions?

What did Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his wife have to do with it?
Would not be donations of a political nature, would it?

And on a funny/strange note-
Pats mascot among 14 arrested in RI sex sting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A man who dons the mascot costume for the New England Patriots was among 14 people who were arrested on prostitution-related charges.

Poor Mazda took a beating. Subaru was saved for rough weather.

i know my honda does great, but sucks in the snow
on to the SUV for a while

almost a half-gallon for my daily commute

where is spring?

My Husband the Ogre buys the gas. His temper was not pleasant,
when the gas got very expensive.

Spring? Which Spring are we discussing?

Oh, you mean the Spring, when the air is still cool enough to be fresh,
but warm enough, so that you nose does not fall off from being frozen?
I think the federal government took it away from Massachusetts,
for being so stubborn about growing so many liberals.
I have not seen a real Spring in eight years.
I used to go swimming in early April when I was teen.
The last time I went swimming in April I had bruised shins.
Water was so cold, I could not feel my legs hitting the rocks.
The last April we had, I was chipping ice off the walk way.

That is what high rise parking garages are for.
Bring hot pepper spray and a body guard.
We have more zombies during the winter festival season.
And have someone spot you, if you are backing into a space.
Too many people are backing right out of the building.
You did not expect the guardrails to stop you from falling,
out of the building, did you?

Radio voice and weatherman voice of Boston.
Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
He was there, for the New England Blizzard of 1978.
And now, he has gone to different plane of existence.
Thank you, Don Kent
Would not have been the same, without you.

International Women's Day 2010

Thanks to heartless Wall Street,
the money that once
funded and protected,
has been reduced
when more was needed

All the well fed wallets
remain that way.
Thanks to the pennies
that they have raked away
from the small pile
that belonged to women.

Women have come so far,
all over the world.

Hope still lives.
Hope still battles.

Wind strong enough to rip a roof, off of a hanger at Logan.
High waves.
Marblehead and Billerica have enough water. But they will get more.

Nice drive to Plymouth? No. Jerks with air rifles, are at it again. Rt. 3 Exit 8
Close to Kingston MA. It is Spring. Rain is a given. No fun, with a shattered car window.

I have not seen any of the episodes of the Sharpe's series, for years.
Tonight? Sharpe's Challenge. But, it is being shown during WGBH fundraising.

gas prices still suck
back to the honda seeing the snow is gone

but damn, may float away in the puddles

I agree. The only good thing about Boston is

boston-rob.jpg

I am grateful, that gas prices did not stay where they were.
All the salt is eating away at the Mazda.
And my awful road is rough on the poor thing.
I am glad I live on a hill.
And no where near the Charles or any other river.
If the ponds over- flow, it will get interesting.

What do you like most, they 14k gold bling or the shaved chest?

Neither.

He's simply a beast during physical comps even after all these years and the best alpha male to ever play the game of Survivor. He fucking rules.

This is my last comment in what I assume is some sorta isolated bitchfest created by the OP.

I say hey girl, let it hang out, let it all hang out.

I am busy, enjoying the sight of Sean Bean. I lurve a 19th century man in uniform. :quick wink icon

You cannot get there, from here. It is flooded.

Patrick on Monday declared a state of emergency as Boston faced the third large rainstorm of the month.

With 12.84 inches of rainfall recorded so far this month, Boston has already broken its record for the wettest March – 11 inches of rainfall in March 1953, according to the National Weather Service, where archives go back to 1872.

This March has also become the fourth wettest month overall in the history of Boston, and is creeping toward the record-setting 17.09 inches of rainfall in August 1955. With an additional 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rainfall expected between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today, this March could become the second wettest month ever recorded, the weather service said.

The water has no place to go. … The communities of Massachusetts are waterlogged.”

Flood warnings were extended for
Merrimack River at Lowell,
Nashua River at East Pepperell,
North Nashua River at Fitchburg,
Spicket River near Methuen,
Squannacook River at West Groton,
Shawsheen River near Wilmington, and
Blackstone River at Northbridge.
Assabet River at Maynard,
Sudbury River at Framingham,
Concord River at Lowell,
Charles River at Dover,
Neponset River at Norwood.

President Barack Obama has declared seven Massachusetts counties, including Essex County, major disaster areas, freeing up federal aid to people and households for damages caused by severe storms and flooding this month.

Gov. Deval Patrick declared a state of emergency earlier in the day and mobilized as many as 1,000 National Guardsmen to assist if there is major flooding as rains continue to pummel the state.

U.S. Sen. John Kerry said Obama's declaration makes money available on a cost-sharing basis to reimburse counties, towns, state agencies and nonprofit groups. All counties in the state are also eligible to apply for assistance under the federal Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.

Another opportunity to sigh over Sean Bean. Sharpe is in peril! With someone, pretty clinging to him? Thanks wgbh!
