Ooops.

America's brand has taken a major hit in the age of Trump. At least that's according to a survey that ranks the world's best nation brands. The United States lands with an overall No. 6 ranking in the Anholt-GfK Nation Brands Index, which measures 50 nations in multiple categories, including governance, exports, culture, people, tourism and immigration/investment. The United States was the overall No. 1 in 2016, but Germany took the top spot this year.

The source of America's big drop? President Donald Trump, says Simon Anholt, a political consultant who developed the brand survey more than a decade ago.

"We are witnessing a 'Trump effect,' following President Trump's focused political message of 'America First,' " Anholt said in a statement.

Thanks Donald!

We're gonna miss ya!
When are you moving?

Just like most die-hard leftist she doesn't have it in her to back up her views to THAT extent.

She won't pick up and actually go live the socialist dream, she just wants to shit on the USA.

I'm not. But thank you for your concern about our country.

Oh yea Trump bashing = concern for our country...the one you fucking LOATHE with a white hot searing passion.

LOL

Other than the economy picking up speed, I'm not seeing a whole lot of difference between 2016 and 2017.
What are your concerns now that you didn't have last year?

Further erosion of abortion rights.
Activist judges being appointed at crazy rates. Unqualified even.
Wealthy Fare
Tax "reform"

I've got quite a few things on my list.

To give you an idea of this list, the last time US dropped from the number one spot was when GWB was re-elected. That didn't work out so well for us on multiple levels.

Why aren't you concerned?

How have abortion rights been eroded?
Who are these activist judges and what do they believe that is so dangerous?
How is "wealthy fare" being carried out, and what do you not like about the tax reform proposals?
You've got a bunch of generalities here but no specifics. None.
Convince me why I should be concerned. Do better than sound bites.

Both the president and vice president are anti-choice. Both have stated quite plainly they will do everything in their power to end Roe V Wade.

The federal judge appointments that have been held up by the republicans that are now being approved at a dizzying rate - most of them coming from such groups as The Heritage Foundation. Some of which aren't even qualified.

That the corporate ones are permanent, the personal ones are temporary. That corporations would be able to deduct their business supplies, but teachers not. That most of American doesn't agree with tax cuts for the wealthy but they are, by far, biggest beneficiary of them. That medical bills, local and state income taxes wouldn't be deductible. The list is quite extensive.

Then there's the fact that the man lies more than tells the truth, pulled out of the Paris climate accord and kisses up to Russia.

What universe do you function in that you are not aware of these things? Convince you? Hell the facts are right there in front of you if you'd take a half hour of your day to read a real news source. I recommend Reuters.

How in hell do I convince someone of reality that doesn't recognize there has been more than one major hurricane in a dozen years?

I see why you aren't concerned. You don't know what's going on.

Had you read the article, you might have followed the link to the survey upon which CNN reported.

Lit didn't like my long response and I'm not going to waste my time and have that happen again. So I'll break it down.
How does Trump not liking abortion change abortion laws and cut back their availability?

Why is it a good idea to impose high taxes on job creators (corporations)?
The wealthy (top 20 percent) pay most of the income taxes. If there are going to be tax cuts, common sense tells me they would be allowed to keep more of what they earn.
Why should state income taxes be deductible? Did you know Chuck Schumer gets a $58,000 tax break because state income taxes are deductible? Talk about tax cuts for the rich ...

Then there's the fact that the man lies more than tells the truth, pulled out of the Paris climate accord and kisses up to Russia.

Who promised a $2,500 annual savings for families under Obamacare? Who said "If you like your plan you can keep it"? Who said "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor"?
If Trump is a liar, maybe he's just trying to emulate Obama.
Who promised Putin "more flexibility"? Can you name another president who sucked up to Putin and Russia more than Obama?
How does the U.S. benefit with the Paris climate accord? What, exactly, would be accomplished if the U.S. state in the accord? Since the science is settled, I expect a specific answer.

And while we're at it, Adrina, tell me another Gulf Coast hurricane after Katrina until this year that caused billions in damages.

Oh my lord.

That's pretty much the response your ignorance is worth.

That’s often the extent of my trolling. To be off topic. Carry on.

Go Scottish people

Nah don't worry about it. It's a far more useful way to spend my time rather than trying to spoonfeed information to the willfuly ignorant.

I rather like AC/DC. I have some of their music on my car stick.

I have a decent amount of Scotch in my heritage.

Ooops.

Thanks Donald!

So are you saying that you want America to be first?

Sounds kinda nationalistic. Are you a nazi?

We didn't build that. It takes a world to build a nation. Those of us nations that have been fortunate need to spread that wealth around!

Your sarcasm might be more effective if it were grounded in reality.

I’m a purebred with most of my family born there we came in the 60s. My name is based on my crazy ass cousin who we called Angus... which was not his name ..who also got wasted and would turn on the oven cooking Bridies and pass out then someone would wake up to smoke everywhere often my uncle..

We were the black sheep of our families.. hit it off immediately after he came over ...drinking and fighting was his game. Many didn’t like him but he would laid down in traffic for me. Don’t meet many people like that in your life ... Died of cancer some years ago.

We were as my uncle called us. The two silly cunts lol. Scottish thing haha

And that’s a little bit of me
